Casinos to celebrate a Thanksgiving bingo

Nov 22, 2004 11:36 PM

Thanksgiving bingo in Las Vegas has to be the biggest gift giveaway week of the year! The casinos must be saying "thanks" to all the players. You’ll be hard pressed to make all the rounds and gobble up all the gifts this week, but here’s where you’ll find the week’s bargains:

Sam’s Town starts the celebration early with a cutting board gift giveaway to all players on Nov. 23.

Festive teddy bears reflecting the current holiday are always a popular gift giveaway and Terrible’s has them on Nov. 25 all day at all sessions.

The Eldorado Casino in Henderson will provide the holiday dessert with a free slice of pumpkin pie to all players at the 5 p.m. session on Thursday of this week. It should be noted that the Eldorado will only play three sessions on the holiday, at 5, 7 and 9 p.m.

In North Las Vegas, Jerry’s Nugget will give away Home Décor Gifts as an early bonus on Nov. 24 at the 3 p.m. session only, and Poker Palace has a free mystery gift in tune with the season for all players on turkey day.

Both Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Arizona Charlie’s Boulder have a nice three piece holiday towel set to give away to all bingo players on Thanksgiving. And Charlie’s Decatur continues to say "Happy Birthday" to bingo players in November giving everyone with a birthday this month a free $6 Rainbow Pack and a free dauber.

It’s Good Neighbor Day sessions at the Gold Coast and Suncoast on Thanksgiving. Players to the immediate right and left of each single game winner will collect a cool $25 in cash at the 1, 3, 7 and 9 p.m. sessions. "Crazy 4 Coveralls" continues at both hotels too, with four $1000 guaranteed Coveralls played every Friday and Saturday in November at the 9 p.m. session and every Sunday at the 1 and 3 p.m. sessions. Bingo players have three more chances to win a $1000 coverall game than during normal sessions. Regular bingo is played with the normal payouts on games 1-11.

All bingo gift giveaways are available at all sessions (unless noted otherwise) to players who purchase a minimum bingo buy-in ($3-4 in most casinos) and are limited to quantities on hand. Play early in the day to guarantee yourself a gift.

Until then, pass the gravy and may you all shout "B-I-N-G-O!"
