Fantasy football a lot of the time is about opportunity.

If you are familiar with playing in traditional leagues it’s about having handcuffs to players in great offenses. Spencer Ware of the Chiefs is a great example as he had been the backup till Jamaal Charles until Charles injury issues flared up and Ware has since put his stamp on the job.

A similar situation is happening in Denver. C.J. Anderson has been the Broncos starter but is out with an injury that could be anywhere from two to eight weeks on the shelf. A young rookie named Devontae Booker had already been cutting into Anderson’s touches and now has the job with the injury to C.J.

Which is why I am recommending Booker currently at 13-1 in USFantasy this week, always the best idea to go across the board (WIN, PLACE and SHOW bets) at $2, it’s a $6 bet. Also take a look at an EXACTA BOX (Booker with Ware, Buccaneers’ Jacquizz Rodgers and Falcons’ Devonta Freeman) by boxing the bet if Booker finishes second but one of those three finish first you will still hit the ticket.

OTHER PROPS:

Prop #1 – WIN BET – Andrew Luck, QB, IND (14-1): Luck and the Colts have been jelling lately and I think it’s a good sign for their next few weeks. He also gets Donte Moncrief from injury. If that offensive line can hold up, Indianapolis could be rising back up to expectations.

Prop No. 1 – EXACTA BOX – Luck with Drew Brees, QB, NO (10-1): People are a little scared off the Saints at home against Seattle, but the Seahawks aren’t facing the Cardinals offense (what happened to that passing game?!) it’s New Orleans in the dome, if there is one guy that beats Luck this week I think it’s Brees.

Prop No. 3 – WIN BET – Dez Bryant, WR, DAL (12-1): Bryant returns from injury in a primetime matchup with the Eagles, a huge division game, huge game for Dak Prescott to keep his QB job over Tony Romo. My guess is Dez factors early and often and has his best week of the season.

Prop No. 4 – WIN BET – Dak Prescott, QB, DAL (20-1): Speaking of Mr. Prescott, it’s his job and the Cowboys are nuts if they don’t ride him out unless the losses pile up. Fact is having a great QB as a backup is a luxury Romo shouldn’t see the field unless Dak struggles in the playoffs or the Cowboys start losing a lot.

Prop No. 7 – WIN BET – Jonathan Stewart, RB, CAR (17-1): Every game from here on out is a must win for the Carolina Panthers while it’s unlikely they win out and make the playoffs if they have any desire to do just that this is the only week they can keep their chances alive. With Stewart healthy I think he can do some serious damage to a lost Cardinal team.
