Cashing big on Titans' Mariota in USFantasy

Thank you Marcus Mariota for continuing my run in USFantasy sports. If you read my Saturday column online at GamingToday.com, you would have gotten Mariota as a winner at 18-1.
Mariota benefitted greatly from being behind most of the game against the Chargers as the Tennessee team kept fighting, trying to get back into the game. The Titans QB cut the deficit to 33-28 with less than 10 minutes on the game clock but ultimately with only 4:51 to play Mariota threw a backbreaking Pick-6 interception to give the Chargers the lead for good.
However, the best part is Mariota still won us money. His first place finish in Prop No. 1 paid $39 to WIN for $2. A $2 WIN/PLACE/SHOW bet as I have recommended paid $53.60. Mariota also made great money in Prop No. 9 as a $68.80 winner, was part of an EXACTA with Packers QB Aaron Rodgers for $84.80 for $2, and a $2 TRIFECTA with Rodgers, Saints QB Drew Brees for $853.60!
Best play of the day came from Ravens WR Mike Wallace who paid $110.40 in Prop No. 3, thanks to a 95-yard TD reception against the Steelers. He was pretty much held in check after that huge play, considering that one play was 125 of his 154 fantasy points scored. Wallace also came in at $33.40 to PLACE and $24.40 to SHOW. A total of $162.80 for a $2 WIN/PLACE/SHOW bet.
It was a solid week for me overall as my NFL newspaper picks were 4-0 and even my spread came in on the moneyline! Let’s see if we can get after it again this week.
Last Week: 4-0
Chiefs-Panthers OV 44: With Cam and Carolina starting to roll, I think they are able to score this week on the Kansas City defense, due to the fact they are back home. Chiefs QB Alex Smith is expected back this week. If he is that should lead to a better balanced KC attack. If Foles starts beware of this place unless RB Spencer Ware returns to the lineup for the Chiefs.
Packers-Titans OV 48.5: Even with a loss last week I still like this Titans team. People have to remember that Mariota is still a young QB in this league and he doesn’t have the rocket arm many in the NFL are blessed with. More seasoning and a real No. 1 WR should be on his Christmas list. With that said the Packers are in a free fall and I expect another shootout in which Aaron Rodgers has to deal with all the pressure again.
Cowboys-Steelers OV 50: The Las Vegas… err Pittsburgh Steelers always seem to help Vegas out when they need a cover. Being that the Steel Curtain or as I like to call them, The Curtain, is set as a -2.5 to -3 point favorite against a red hot 7-1 Cowboys team, this game should be full of exciting made-for-TV action. Which leads me to…
SPREAD OF THE WEEK –Steelers -2.5: as I said above, The Curtain seems to always give Vegas what they need, and trust me, the books are going to need Big Ben and Pittsburgh. Let’s chalk up last week’s loss to Baltimore as a heated division rivalry (always tough) and a little rust from the big guy at QB.
