Ohio lawmakers are once again attempting to revise the state’s rules on fantasy sports.
Last year the attorney general’s office advised lawmakers to update its rules on fantasy sports, an industry that has become a giant, worldwide, digital business. The major fantasy sports enterprises are, reportedly, supporting to the effort.
The new legislation is sponsored by House Republicans and requires fantasy sports enterprises to be licensed by the state and all participants to be 18 or older.
