NBA, NHL bets starting well

I am having a good start with playoff season wagering.
Hockey and basketball handicapping are about finding the best value and right now the NHL has been very, very good to me. I felt like I conquered the NHL this weekend. I won’t say how much I cashed, but I did take Nashville in both games against my hometown team Chicago.
Of course the Hawks lost 1-0 and 5-0 to the Predators, and their early troubles in the playoffs continue again this year as they did last season with their premature exit in the first round. I only watched two full hockey games from start to finish all year long. Yes, I would catch a period here and there as I switched channels to watch other sports, but decided to pay more attention to the NHL as the playoffs started.
I watched four complete hockey games over this past weekend. Now I am puzzled that the NHL isn’t talking legalized gambling as much as NBA commissioner Adam Silver has. He has made it known, they would play right in the casino if they could.
The NBA playoffs have made for some good television, too, but hockey is much more unpredictable, especially because of the goaltending. The Predators goalie Pekka Rinne has been standing on his head, and I find the NHL’s unpredictability makes the games more interesting. But the NBA isn’t too shabby either.
Enjoy the playoffs.
