Knights make NHL debut today’s preseason matchup at Vancouver

The Vegas Golden Knights make their debut to the National Hockey League today with their initial preseason matchup this afternoon at Vancouver against the Canucks.

Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced the team’s roster for the 2 p.m. PT matchup at Rogers Arena. The game will air on AT&T SportsNet and will also have radio coverage on Fox Sports 98.9 FM/1340 AM. Please note the roster is subject to change.

The team will be traveling back to Las Vegas immediately after the game. There will be a scrimmage Monday at 12:15 p.m. at City National Arena in Summerlin and after its conclusion the players and head coach Gerald Gallant will be available for interviews.

This is the roster heading into that inaugural game. 

Forwards: William Carrier, Cody Glass, Tomas Hyka, Keegan Kolesar, Brendan Leipsic, Stefan Matteau, Tomas Nosek, Nick Suzuki, Paul Thompson, Alex Tuch, TJ Tynan and Tyler Wong.

Defensemen: Jake Bischoff, Nicolas Hague, Brad Hunt, Griffin Reinhart, Clayton Stoner and Shea Theodore.

Goaltenders:  Dylan Ferguson and Jiri Patera
