Race 1

No. 1 Blue Tambourine exits our HTW list and is the one to beat, she was well bet in her first start over this course and finished a good second despite trouble. 1

Race 2

No. 9 Ninth Infantry finds a field loaded with early speed, she will sit back and make one big run down the lane and run them all down at the wire. 9

Race 3

No. 2 Harmony’s Hope gets the big drop from straight maidens to this 32k maiden claimer. No. 4 Krakow Queen has some speed and will hold much better today. 2-4

Race 4

No. 8 Yodelen Dan is one tough 9yo gelding who is looking for his fourth straight win, he has won 12 of 34 lifetime starts and has won seven out of his last nine races. 8

Race 5

No. 2 Nericon King is the speed and will have to be caught; he could get brave if left alone on the front end. No. 6 Bad Boy is in search of the hat trick. No. 8 Afleet Ruler will appreciate the softer company. No. 10 Fantasy Free gets jockey Espinoza back in the irons and he rode this guy in his last win. 2-6-8-10

Race 6

No. 3 Macias will be very hard to beat at what will be a short price, No. 4 Alfarabi looks to have the best shot at the top pick. 3-4

Race 7

In the Sham which was suppose to be run last week we will go with No. 7 Setsuko who trainer Richard Mandella says could be Derby material, No. 9 Nextdoorneighbor who is coming up to this race perfectly and long shot No. 10 Alphie’s Bet a deep closer who could be picking up a lot of tiring speed. 7-9-10

Race 8

No. 1 Sister Dawn exits our HTW list and is confidently placed in this Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks off the maiden breaker, trainer John Sadler must really lover this girl. No. 5 Blind Luck will be odds on in her and looks it. 1-5

Race 9

No. 10 Battle Of Hastings loves this course with two wins and a second from three starts, he will be right there at the wire once again. No. 11 Tuscan Evening gets the worst of the post draw but her speed will get her in a good spot for a shot at upsetting the boys. 10-11

Race 10

No. 2 St Trinians has won all four of her races since arriving in the states and looks to have a big shot at # 5 today in the Santa Anita Handicap. No. 6 Loup Breton could give him a run for the money. 2-6

No. 4 Jade Ruler is in from Santa Anita and takes the class drop to the bottom as they try for the win and unload at the same time. No. 9 Ra’s Action has had his shots but may have found a group of 8k maiden claimers he can beat. 4-9

Race 7

No. 1 Reagan Republican is on a roll, No. 7 Fu Peg He Rat finally notched win #2 after a long dry spell, he will be making his late run. No. 9 Go Baroque will also try and run them down late. 1-7-9
