The Vegas Golden Knights look to extend their latest winning streak when they visit the Anaheim Ducks. Game time is 7 p.m. PT at the Honda Center where the Ducks are -120 money line favorites. The total is 5.5.
The Golden Knights (23-9, 9-7 road) have taken five straight and are 8-0-1 in their last nine games. They’re tied for first place in the Pacific Division with the Los Angeles Kings and share the Western Conference lead with St. Louis with 48 points. In their last outing on Saturday, Vegas blanked Washington 3-0 to complete a 4-0-1 homestand.
Anaheim (16-13-4, 8-7-3 home) are back home following a 3-2-1 road trip ended with victories over the New York Islanders 5-4 in overtime Thursday and Pittsburgh 4-0 on Saturday. John Gibson stopped 35 shots for his first shutout of the season to help the Ducks move into fourth place in the Pacific Division.
Vegas has won seven straight against Pacific Division teams and is 9-0-1 on the season. The Golden Knights, who are third in the NHL in scoring (3.44 goals per game), continue to be one of the top OVER plays with a 21-11 mark. Vegas is also 9-1-1 to the high side in its last 11 overall and 6-1-2 to the OVER in its past nine against the Pacific Division.
On the flip side, the Ducks have been one of the better UNDER plays this season posting a record of 23-13. Anaheim is 5-0-1 to the low side in its past six home games.
Vegas has also been a profitable puckline play with a record of 23-11 (+1,472) including 11-5 on the road.
