LOSS Take 717 Golden State Warriors -7 over Dallas Mavericks
The Golden State Warriors look to extend their lead in the Pacific Division when they visit the Dallas Mavericks in the opener of a three-game road trip. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. PT at America Airlines Center where the Warriors are favored by -7. The total is 217.
Golden State (29-8, 14-3 road) is coming off a 141-128 win over Memphis on Saturday. Stephen Curry, who had missed the previous 11 games with an ankle injury, scored 38 points in 26 minutes. He was 12 of 17 from the field, including 10 of 13 from downtown. Overall the Warriors shot 58%.
Dallas (13-25, 8-11 home) is riding a four-game winning streak including an impressive three-game road trip in which they beat the Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder. Rookie Dennis Smith Jr. notched his first career triple-double in Friday’s win in the Big Easy and followed that up with 19 points and six assists in the victory over the Thunder.
Golden State is 23-9-1 ATS in the last 33 meetings in Dallas and 43-19-1 in the past 63 meetings overall. The road team is 5-2 ATS in the past seven meetings and the favorite is 4-1 last five. The Mavericks are 4-0 ATS in their last four overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games. However they’re just 1-7-1 ATS last nine vs. the Pacific Division.
The Mavericks are 10-4 to the UNDER in their last 14 games and 10-4 to the low side in their past 14 against the Western Conference.
