May 16, 2017 3:01 AM

The long-anticipated Mayhem in Mesquite XI takes place this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the CasaBlanca Events Center.

The Future Stars of MMA event includes fighters from gyms in Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California, and is the 11th installment that has called Mesquite home. Tickets are priced at just $11.

“The energy and excitement we see at the Mayhem events continues to grow with each installment,” said Ely Prussin, director of player development for Mesquite Gaming and founder of Mayhem in Mesquite.

“It has been rewarding to see attendees come out time and again to support and cheer for their favorite fighters and Tuff-N-Uff has once again put together a remarkable card for this 11th event in Mesquite,” Prussin added.

Weigh-ins will take place in the CasaBlanca Skydome Lounge on Friday at 6 p.m. followed at 8:30 p.m. by a concert performance of Fan Halen – a tribute show to Van Halen. Admission to both is free.

Following Saturday’s bouts there will be an after-party at 10 p.m. featuring the Sin City Sinners. Again admission is free to the after-party.

Tickets are on sale now for the 7 p.m. fight card. Tuff-N-Uff is a 24-year-old combat sports organization based in Las Vegas and has been the starting point for some of the top UFC and Strikeforce fighters, including UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, UFC/Strikeforce veteran Ryan Couture and UFC welterweight Alan Jouban.
