The 33rd Breeders’ Cup World Championships Seminars

The 33rd Breeders’ Cup World Championships, consisting of 13 Grade 1 races with purses and awards totaling $28 million, returns to Santa Anita Park this year, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5. As usual, there will be a number of seminars around town to help you handicap some winners in those races, and we will have a list of all of them on our website by the end of the week.

Las Vegas seminars

One of those seminars that is sure to be very insightful will be held at the Sunset Station race and sportsbook on Friday, Nov. 4 from 6 to 7 p.m. Hosted by Chuck Esposito, Sunset’s director of race and sports, and Brian Blessing, Sportsbook Radio, KSHP AM 1400, the lineup will also include GT’s very own Steve Davidowitz and Richard Eng, columnist for the Las Vegas Review Journal.

In addition to serving up some expert handicapping advice, they will also be serving pizza and soft drinks

GamingToday's writer Dave Valento will be joining Professor Gordon Jones and GamingToday’s Richard Saber for a seminar at the Palace Station on Friday, Nov. 4 at 8 a.m. This is the morning of the first day of the Breeders’ Cup.

They’ll have free coffee and donuts and I’ll have a Breeders’ Cup guide FREE to those who attend ($30 value).

Handicappers Patrick McQuiggan and Toby Turrell will be hosting a free handicapping seminar with John Kelly at the South Point Race Book taking place at the South Point Grand Ballroom Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5 starting at 10 a.m. Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday. The seminar closes at 4 p.m. Friday and after the Classic on Saturday. There will be free drinks with wagers, food specials and betting stations.

Horse racing experts Richard Eng and Jerry J will be hosting a free handicapping seminar at Sam's Town during the 2016 Breeders' Cup weekend.
