Race 1

$16K claimers go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 3 Street Image looks perfectly spotted off the maiden win here on July 12th. No. 5 Moonoverthebayou takes a big class drop and has a real nice last work. No. 8 Sorriso is the controlling speed on the drop. 5-8-3

Race 2

The $100K Shared Belief at 1 1/16 miles for 3-year-olds. With Uncle Chuck heading East, Bob Baffert sends out the uncoupled entry of No. 2 Thousand Words and No. 6 Cezanne looking to beat the Santa Anita Derby winner No. 5 Honor A. P.  5-6-2

Race 3

2-year-old maidens go five furlongs. No. 1 Wyfire is a first time starter out of the dam Summertime who has dropped five winners from five starters and worked big here on 20th. No. 2 Petruchio gets the hot-riding Flavien Prat for his first race. No. 5 Freedom Fighter is a first time starter for Baffert who worked a bullet here on July 25 when best of 102 workers at four furlongs. No. 8 Vittorio cost $750K and gets jockey Mike Smith for his first start. 5-8-2-1

Race 4

$50K starter allowance runners travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 6 Bud Knight gets back to his preferred surface. No. 7 Sly fits with these off his good maiden win and we like that he is in this claim-proof spot. 6-7

Race 5

$40K optional claimers travel a flat mile. No. 3 Shortlist ships in for trainer John Sadler and gets jockey Flavien Prat riding. No. 1 Nolo Contesto comes off the layoff but his last work signals that he is ready to roll. 3-1

Race 6

Maiden fillies and mares go five furlongs on the grass. No. 3 Chitu Me Too had a big time last work for her debut race. No. 6 Sweet and Cheeky is the stablemate of Chitu Me Too and ran a good second sprinting on the grass at Santa Anita. No. 7 Officious gets her second start off the layoff and ran big in her previous race. 3-6-7

Race 7

California bred 2-year-old maiden fillies go 5 1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Mamba Queen gets a big jockey upgrade so look for a big run today. No. 9 Taming the Tigress ran big first out despite trouble and is the fillie to beat. No. 8 Smoothlikebuttah finished right behind Taming the Tigress in that race. 9**-8-1

Race 8

The $100K CTBA for California bred 2-year-old fillies going 5 1/2 furlongs. In what is a very wide- open five-horse field with the 6 and 7 scratched we will use No. 1 Big Andy and No. 4 Righteously. After that, hit the “all” button.

Race 9

$62,500 maiden fillies and mares travel 1 1/16 miles on the grass. No. 5 Tagline comes off a good second at this level last out despite trouble. No. 6 Better With Age is a sneaky looking Florida shipper. 5-6

Race 10

The Grade 1 $250K Bing Crosby at six furlongs. With McKinzie out of the Bing Crosby it becomes wide open. No. 6 Fashionably Fast is a three time winner here and had a big last work. No. 7 Law Abiden Citizen is in top form and worked a bullet here on July 24th. No. 8 Wildman Jack also has a shot off is good win last out in the Grade 3 Daytona at Santa Anita. No. 9 Collusion Illusion won the Grade 3 Laz Barrera and has won 4 of his 5 starts.  6-7-8-9

Race 11

California bred maiden fillies and mares travel a flat mile on the grass. No. 9 On Mars has been nibbling but finds a great race to get the maiden breaker as the Del Mar turf could be the answer. No. 1 Cheerful Charm exits the same last race as On Mars. 9**-1
