VIP MLB Baseball's Dirty Dozen | The worst MLB teams against the spread coupled with bonehead decisions.
After just a “Dirty Dozen” games, the Cincinnati Reds are who we thought they were. Not very good.
In fact, at 2-10 the Big Dead Machine is the very worst in baseball and top loser in the most important of categories – the betting dollar.
Joey Votto is by far Cincy’s best player, Scooter Gennett has the coolest name and Billy Hamilton still can’t steal first base. The pitching staff is led by someone named Homer. That’s troubling.
So is being down $769 (per $100 wager) and sporting a 2-10 record, at least the Reds are consistent. They are 1-4 at home, 1-6 on the road. Cincinnati is what we figured the Pittsburgh Pirates would be before the season started. Yes, we certainly don’t know everything but the Reds’ demise does keep our Dirty Dozen panel believing we are on the right track.
