Finish Line | The 15th race of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series takes us up north to Michigan’s 2-mile, D-shaped oval where horsepower reigns supreme, and that should be the case since it’s a showcase of American-made cars battling it out near Motor City.
Finish Line | I know I often say how amazed I am with Jimmie Johnson, but I have to shout it out again. This 41-year-old Californian from El Cajon is doing things no one else in NASCAR history has done and he just goes about things in such a ho-hum manner.
Finish Line | The 13th race of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup season takes to the northeast for the first time of 2017 with the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway’s one-mile, high-banked concrete layout. It’s a fast track with lots of room and multiple grooves, but it’s still kind of a short track so drivers get in the way of each other and keep things interesting.
Finish Line | I love the football Sundays, but this particular one is my favorite day of the year. It’s a gear-head paradise with three totally different car races on three different race tracks and it all starts before the sun rises in Las Vegas.
Finish Line | Okay, I think I’m finally able to catch my breath after being on the edge of my seat watching Sunday’s thriller at Talladega Superspeedway where Ricky Stenhouse Jr. grabbed the first win of his Cup career.
