So much for the Heat dynasty. Cleveland has it revenge.

The city LeBron burned by joining the Miami Heat went from Cavs to Mavs fans and no doubt enjoyed what they saw.

The Dallas Mavericks won their first NBA championship, defeating Miami 105-95 to win the Finals series in six games. As for the wiseguys who continued to back the Mavericks, it was sweet cashing.

Though ahead 3-2 in the Finals, Dallas traveled to Miami as a decided 5½-point underdog. That despite the fact that the Mavericks were on fire covering spreads, closing the season 22-4-1 against the number.

The streak included an incredible 15 consecutive covers from April 8 to May 8. In the playoffs, Dallas was 5-0 vs Portland, 4-0 vs the LA Lakers, 4-2 vs Oklahoma City and 3-2-1 vs Miami.

As for the Heat, they closed a respectable 12-7-1 ATS, but were only 2-3-1 against Dallas.
