• With such “expert” scheduling as North Texas, Idaho and Towson, only Washington poses even a mild threat.
• Zach Mettenberger has Tiger fans excited as a passing QB, something not seen in the bayou since Matt Flynn.
• Tigers return a strong defense and a running game by committee that averaged over 200 yards per game.
• LSU comes off a school record 13-win season and a berth in the national title game.
Prediction: PUSH. LSU has a brutal 4-week stretch of Florida, S.C., A&M and Bama. Then they close at Arkansas. We see 10-2.
