Mar 9, 2013 7:16 AM

All Station Casinos, Fiesta and Wildfire Gaming sports books in addition to El Cortez are upping the stakes this year in the annual “Last Man Standing” college basketball elimination contest with a minimum guaranteed win of $50,000 aggregate, $10,000 higher than last year.

Entries are $25 apiece, and with purchase of four. A fifth entry is free. If entry fees exceed $50,000, the last player(s) to win, also known as the “Last Man Standing,” takes the entire prize pot. Players who participate pick a college basketball winner versus the contest line and if the round is lost, a player is out.

Entries are already available and must be received by 9 a.m. on March 21, which is the first day of picks. Opening round games will not be part of the contest.

Station Casinos, Fiesta and Wildfire Gaming sports books are available at Barley’s Casino & Brewery, Boulder Station, Fiesta Rancho, Fiesta Henderson, Palace Station, Green Valley Ranch resort, Red Rock Resort, Santa Fe Station, Sunset Station, Texas Station, Wild Wild West, Wildfire Boulder, Wildfire Rancho, Wildfire Sunset and Wildfire Lanes, and El Cortez.

Complete rules, details and prize redemption information for Last Man Standing are in the respective sports books at all participating properties. For more information visit www.sclv.com.
