What an exciting time of year. The NFL playoffs are here and the college football championship takes place Monday.
Let’s address the college championship first, Auburn is getting 8½ points vs. Florida State with the total set at 67½. The Seminoles have won by an average of 42 points in their games this year. The Tigers of Auburn have covered 10 straight games against the spread. This will be fun.
I am an underdog player but with Auburn’s one dimensional offense and eighth-ranked defense the Seminoles win and cover going away.
I am talking about being very selective and finding real value. A little advantage goes a long way. On to the pros.
The Denver Broncos will play the Seattle Seahawks in this year’s Super Bowl. I have already seen the script. I just don’t see any team going into Denver or Seattle and pulling off the upset. In regards to the Invite Only Friday Football Showdown Handicapping Contest, I am in the finals competing against Paul Stone for $25,000 vs. the point spread.
Looks like it will come down to the final night this Monday. In the meantime, bet with your head, not over it.
