Colts Pagano should feel his seat getting warm

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts getting beat by the Buffalo Bills 27-14 was a surprise. The first week of the NFL is out of the way and some great stories have already surfaced for a few players.

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts getting beat by the Buffalo Bills 27-14 was a surprise. Luck has numerous endorsements and receives a lot of affection from the press, but I’m looking for him to go to the next level.

Will that happen soon? I said on my Fox Sports radio show with Andy Furman that the Colts’ Chuck Pagano was one of my top five coaches who I think will be fired at the end of the season. Owner Jim Irsay, who thinks that for the money his old QB Peyton Manning underachieved with only one Super Bowl win, might be suffering from déjà vu.

Now can you say the Colts look like a Super Bowl team? Giants look vastly improved, but poor clock management at the end of the game by Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning gave Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys time to beat NY.

Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans beat up Tampa Bay and Jameis Winston in their first head-to-head NFL meeting. Mariota at Oregon beat Winston at Florida State in the NCAA playoffs and again last Sunday. Hopefully things will get better in places like Washington, Chicago, Tampa Bay and Cleveland.
