Stick with the side this Thanksgiving Thursday night game

Pittsburgh Steelers -8.5 at Indianapolis Colts (48) at 5:30 p.m. PT

At the time of this writing, the Pittsburgh Steelers are favored to beat Indianapolis by 8.5 over at the Westgate, which is a lot higher than the initial opening line of -3. The increase has much to do with luck literally. Andrew Luck is “OUT” due to a concussion he suffered in last week’s game against the Tennessee Titans. So with no Luck, Indy could be in trouble. Indy’s back up QB, Scott Tolzien, is listed as probable and will likely man the ship on Thanksgiving Day. The total opened up at 48.

Look for Pittsburgh to bring their best effort and take advantage of Indy’s misfortune. The Steelers will be ready to feast on the Colts this Thanksgiving and take advantage of the Colts misfortune of playing without Luck. Ben Roethlisberger is healthy and the Steelers are coming off of a big win last week. Even though this win came against a team that has failed to put a W in the win column this year, Pittsburgh covered handily.

With Luck out, Indy will be lucky to put up a significant number of points. Chances are the Steelers will cover the spread, and could possibly win by double digits. Total might be too risky, so stay with the side dish and take the Steelers ATS.

Predicted Score: Pittsburgh 35, Indy 17.
