With all the lengths the NFL has gone to, they still can't protect quarterbacks

I thought we had pretty much established the fact that the league was going to protect the signal caller no matter what the cost. No matter how many rules they had to implement or adjust they were going to make sure the QBs didn’t go down. I love it when a plan comes together! But oh how it has not.
QBs are going down left and right. You can start with Derek Carr, who came back from a back injury in a losing effort against the Chargers. Sam Bradford came back last Monday night in Chicago but that comeback only lasted one half. No surprise there, Bradford has always been fragile.
The Bucs’ Jameis Winston went out with a shoulder injury last week at Arizona. He’s always been a big and durable guy, we’ll see how well and how soon he comes back. And finally, the best QB in the world, Aaron Rodgers, broke his collarbone against the Vikings and could miss the entire season.
It’s been a strange season so far in the NFL, a wild ride losing all these QBs from week to week. However, the circus will continue this week as Colin Kaepernick has filed a collusion grievance against the NFL. Maybe you’ll get lucky enough to see Kaepernick under center instead of on his knees.
Owners of QBs beware, especially fantasy owners! You never know what you’re going end up with before the season ends. No one took Rodgers with their first pick anyway – right?

Chiefs -2.5 at Raiders: I have to be honest, I didn’t see the Steelers coming up big at KC. And, neither did the Chiefs. That was Kansas City’s wake up call. Now that their first loss is out of the way they can get back to the business of winning and covering the spread. I think the FBI should refresh efforts to find D.B. Cooper (the guy who jumped out of the airliner with that bag of money and was never seen or heard from again). If they find Cooper they should also be able to find Amari. CHIEFS
