Last season the Philadelphia Eagles completed the dream for future ticket bettors cashing as Super Bowl Champions at 50-1 or higher, depending on where you got down.

Let’s examine the candidates by division at 50-1 or higher.

AFC East – Jets 100-1 (Westgate); Dolphins 125-1 (William Hill); Buffalo 200-1 (WG): Toss out the Bills who have a ton of offensive problems. The Jets while they have talent don’t strike me as a team that could put it all together for a full run. That leaves us the Dolphins. Earlier on the Cash Considerations Podcast – which you can stream on GamingToday.com or the Apple iTunes Podcast app – I claimed to like their season win total under. But if they get a full season from Tannehill they could be interesting.

AFC North – Ravens 50-1 (Caesars); Browns 100-1; Bengals 125-1 (WH): Ah, the Ravens, a team I feel like has the potential to start 0-4 and bury every Under season-wins bettor as Lamar Jackson rolls off 11 of his next 12 games. They are dangerous if they can get great play at QB. Browns and Bengals probably need an extra zero behind the odds.

AFC South – Titans 50-1 (Caesars); Colts 100-1 (WH): Two of my favorites, the South is going to be very tough. Both of these teams at these odds are worth a bet to win it all. I expect a career year from Marcus Mariota and a complete 180 from the Colts thanks to the new staff.

NFC East – Redskins 100-1 (WG): Washington should be competitive, especially on offense where Jay Gruden has done a great job with zero running backs. The loss of Rookie RB Derrius Guice will set this offense back. No playoffs here.

NFC North – Lions 60-1; Bears 100-1 (WG): Detroit might end up the best 6-10 team in NFL history this season. As a hugely pessimistic Bears fan, I have to say I am excited to see Bears head coach Matt Nagy unleash Mitchell “The Biscuit” Trubisky. With that defense and brand new offensive scheme they are worth a few bucks.

NFC South – Panthers 50-1 (Golden Nugget); Bucs 200-1 (WG): Tampa is a hot mess; pass. Carolina, while they have plenty of talent, don’t seem to have what it takes on the intangibles side of things to threaten in the NFC.

NFC West – Seahawks 60-1 (WG); Cardinals 125-1 (Wynn): Two of my least favorite teams in 2018. Would be completely stunned to see either with a winning record.
