With the festive fixtures done and dusted, the race for the Premier League title, Champions League places and the battle to avoid relegation are all now really taking shape.

Despite finally suffering a first domestic loss of the season in the pulsating 4-3 defeat at Liverpool, Manchester City would need a collapse of Devon Loch proportions (the horse which fell when clear of the field on the final straight in the 1956 Grand National for the uninitiated) not to win the Premier League at this stage of the campaign and their odds reflect that at an unappealing (yet fully warranted) 1-50.

For those that do envisage an unlikely City disintegration over the run-in, Liverpool can be backed to overhaul them for the title at 66-1, Manchester United are available at 80-1 and Chelsea at 100-1.

Following their last 16 draw against Basel, City have now also been installed as favourites for the Champions League at around 3-1 with most online bookies, followed by Paris Saint-Germain (11-2), Bayern Munich (11-2), Barcelona (7-1) and Real Madrid (8-1).

With PSG, Bayern and Barcelona all holding healthy leads at the top of their respective leagues, all the major contenders should be in a position to put everything into winning football’s premier club competition this season without having to overly concern themselves as to domestic distractions.

Unsurprisingly, Pep Guardiola’s charges are also leading the way in the FA Cup betting at a general 3-1 in most places.  Naturally enough, they are followed in the betting by all the usual suspects – Manchester United (5-1), Liverpool (11-2), Chelsea (6-1) and Tottenham (13-2).

More adventurous FA Cup punters might fancy taking Southampton at 50-1, Watford or West Ham United at 66-1 or, for the real romantics willing to squander their cash, Yeovil Town can be backed at 5000-1.

The best mobile betting apps provide you with all the very best and latest bookmaker offers with which to take full advantage of betting on any of the aforementioned competitions.

These days the majority of Premier League and football betting in general is done via mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, with the convenience of being able to bet whenever and wherever you like having obvious appeal to punters.

With Free Bets and additional promotions on offer for new and existing customers, the availability of live streaming and with touch-screen technology being increasingly widespread, the mobile betting experience has never been easier.
