Jerry Lewis estate auction to be held at Planet Hollywood June 22

Items from the estate of legendary comic and moviemaker Jerry Lewis will be up for auction at Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas Strip later this month. Lewis, a long-time Las Vegas resident, died in August at age 91.

Julien’s Auctions will conduct the sale June 22. Sessions will begin at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. local time. It’s free to attend and browse items from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through June 22. Admission is free with bidders required to register in advance or at the door.

Among the items being auctioned are watches from the Lewis’s collection, including a gold Cartier watch from the Baignoire collection that is expected to garner an estimated $25,000 to $35,000.

Also included are timepieces given to Lewis by Sammy Davis Jr. (expected to sell for $6,000 to $8,000) and his longtime radio, TV and movie partner, Dean Martin ($4,000 to $6,000). The 14-karat gold LeCoultre watch from Martin is inscribed with the words on three lines: “Jerry My Buddy and Pal, I Love You, Dino”

From his film and theater work, are collections of custom false teeth and black-rimmed glasses expected to bring $2,000 to $4,000 each.

The South Point in Las Vegas hosted Lewis’ final public performance in October 2016. Lewis, Davis and Martin all have individual Las Vegas thoroughfares named in their honor
