The Golden Nugget will kick off the start of Big Easy Week in honor of Mardi Gras with a night of mystery at the fourth annual Masquerade Ball on Saturday, March 1.

Partygoers should hit Gold Diggers, a downtown nightclub hotspot with spectacular balcony views of the Fremont Street Experience. Advance tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple. Tickets bought at the door are $20 per person.

All tickets include complimentary Mardi Gras masks and beads. The event begins at 8 p.m. For more info call 866-946-5336.

Planet Hollywood: Partygoers can parade through PBR Rock Bar & Grill on Tuesday, March 4. In honor of the legendary Bourbon Street party, the Strip-side hot spot inside Miracle Mile Shops will offer drink specials all day with many priced at $5 each.

Small plate selections, including the sweet chili shrimp, chipotle chicken sliders and fried pickles are priced at $7 each.

LVH: The casino is celebrating with Italian-themed gifts for February and March. Earn 200 points and receive a free cheese grater for 200 points through this Friday.

From March 1-7 the gift will be Biscotti, as well as a wine holder from March 8-14. From March 15-21, pick up a bottle of Italian red wine. All gifts require 200 points.

Venetian: Rockhouse will throw a Bourbon Street-style party with a rock n’ roll twist on Tuesday, March 4, with its second annual “Rock You Like a Hurricane” celebration at the Grand Canal Shoppes. Hurricane cocktails go for $5 all day.

Tuscany: Seniors age 50 and up can get everything at 20% off every day in February and March with a Players Club card. The offer includes rooms, spa treatments, gift shop purchases, restaurant meals, drinks in lounges and other retail shop purchases.

El Cortez: A toast to Bugsy Siegel will be held this Friday. Siegel once owned the resort for a brief six months in 1945. There will also be a $5 Old Fashioned and Cigar special in the Parlour Bar for the day.
