Pawn Stars all-in on Poker Run

Rick Harrison will lead the 2nd Annual Pawn Stars Poker Run to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Nevada on Oct. 4. Rick will lead hundreds of bikers through the streets of Las Vegas on the Poker Run to be followed by music and festivities at the new Pawn Plaza.

Grand Prize is $2,000 for best hand, and $1,000 for the worst hand. The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and begins at the famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. Registration is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., kick stands up at 10 a.m. and last bike in and party time at 2 p.m.

Club Fortune

Club Fortune in Henderson offers five poker tables featuring No-Limit and Spread-Limit Texas Hold’em. For September on Fridays the poker room has Flush Attack. Hit a flush in all four suits and win $100. Football squares will run through the entire pro football season, too. Earn squares all week. Drawings are on Sundays. Seminole Casino

The Coco Poker Open will begin an 11-day run at Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek, Florida, on Thursday, Sept. 24. The Open will feature a $2,500 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed, No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack event, Oct. 1-4. It will offer 25,000 in starting chips. Preceding the $1 million guaranteed event will be a $250,000 No Limit Hold’em tourney, Sept. 24-27, with a $350 buy-in. It’s also a guaranteed event.

Players may buy into the championship, qualify through satellite events, or enter for a chance to win a $2,500 entry in the main event by registering online at CasinoCoco.com. One winner will be selected at random and notified at the e-mail address provided when registering for the contest. Contest entry is limited to one per person.

This is the second stop this season for players to qualify for the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Leaderboard points, awarding over $100,000 in prizes to the top players.
