Halloween weekend is brewing. Remember, no masks in the casinos!
The Ghostbar’s highly anticipated Halloween bash, The Day and Night of the Killer Costumes, starts at 1 p.m., Oct. 31, and extends through the early morning hours.
Kicking off the festivities at the wild daytime bash, Dayclub partygoers donning sexy, creative, scary and playful costumes can compete for their chance to win the Best Overall Costume contest, The Day of The Killer Costumes.
First place will win $2,000 in cash plus VIP bottle service ($500 value). Second place wins $1,000 in cash plus VIP bottle service at Dayclub ($500 value). Third place gets a complimentary one night stay in a superior hotel room, dinner for two at NOVE Italiano and VIP table at Dayclub ($100 value).
Prizes for the evening portion of the Best Overall Costume contest include: First place, $5,000 in cash plus a lavish one-story sky villa for one night ($10,000 value) valid for up to one year, blackout dates apply; Second place, $2,500 in cash plus VIP bottle service ($500 value) and Third place, $1,000 in cash plus VIP bottle service ($500 value).
Local ladies receive complimentary admission from 1 until 8 p.m. Admission for local gentlemen and out-of-state ladies starts at $10 with admission starting at $20 for all ladies and $25 for all men after 8 p.m.
Tacos & Tequila (T&T) will celebrate Halloween weekend with a Dia de los Muertos hangover brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1. Drink specials will include two-for-one Bloody Marias, classic Bloody Mary’s made with Jose Cuervo tequila, fresh cucumber, Chipotle Tabasco, olive juice and a salted rim, priced at $12; and the Michelada, made with Clamato juice, fresh squeezed lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco hot sauce and black pepper, mixed with Dos Equis beer, priced at $9.
Signature brunch selections will include T&T’s Breakfast Burrito, a hearty serving of scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, Oaxaca cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, and salsa roja, priced at $13; Brioche French Toast, prepared with fresh Mexican-style bananas foster, caramel sauce and crispy bacon bits, priced at $12; and the Machaca Burrito, prepared with scrambled eggs, salted dried beef, black beans, Oaxaca cheese, salsa verde, crema fresca and habanero salsa, priced at $14.
The “$100,000 HalloSpin-HalloWin drawings conclude this Friday night, Oct. 30. Drawings will be held every hour, on the hour, from 5-8 p.m. with a chance to win up to $100,000. Earn drawing tickets as follows: 200 base slot points equals 1 entry; $10 table theoretical equals 1 entry.
The Decatur location’s Bingo Monster Triple Coveralls continue this Friday and Saturday with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chance $1,000 coveralls at the 11 a.m., 1, 9 and 11 p.m. sessions. Free daubers will be given out with a minimum buy-in on Oct. 31 starting at the 9 a.m. session.
The downtown Henderson casino will also be passing out free daubers in bingo on Halloween with a minimum buy-in.
