The Edgewater and Colorado Belle Casinos in Laughlin, owned and operated by Marnell Gaming, now have a new linked slot club called Access.
First, a little information about the two hotel casinos. The Edgewater Hotel Casino Resort has over 1,000 rooms and suites (80% are non-smoking rooms). Internet access is available in all rooms and may be charged to the guest’s credit card.
On property restaurants include the Hickory Pit Steakhouse, Grand Buffet and Coco’s, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, Wild Style Burgers & Pizza, Dunkin’ Donuts and 32 Below. Additional amenities include a swimming pool and spa, fitness room, beauty salon and a video game arcade.
Colorado Belle’s 1,164 rooms and suites all feature 32-inch flat screen TVs with expanded viewing and pay-per-view options. Rooms are also Internet accessible. The property is well known for its microbrewery, Pint’s Brewery & Sports Bar, located on “B” Deck, the main casino floor – Laughlin’s only microbrewery, serving handcrafted beers and an eclectic menu of pizzas, gourmet burgers, sandwiches and steaks – plus breakfast.
Other restaurants include The Loading Dock Bar & Grille and the Big Easy Deli.
Colorado Belle has two beautiful swimming pools, one located in the courtyard surrounded by the New Orleans Tower, and a second, more secluded pool, also in the courtyard surrounded by the Bourbon Tower. New Orleans Tower pool has a fun waterfall and a 14-person bubbling spa nearby. The pools are heated in the winter for guests to enjoy year-round.
The Access Club features five tier levels and combines play from both casinos on a linked card. If you have old cards, prior to Aug. 1, 2016, you will need a replacement card to “access” both combined casinos now.
The five tier levels from entry level through top tier are Preferred, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. All levels from Bronze to Platinum receive buffet and restaurant discounts from 10% to 50% off. Each level represents new increased benefits and top levels receive complimentary event tickets, line pass privileges, birthday offers and higher promotional awards. A brochure is available at the Access Club booths explaining complete tier levels and benefits.
Tier points are determined based on machine type. For reel slots, $1 coin-in is equal to one rewards point. For video poker, $2 coin-in equal 1 rewards point. 500 points equal $1 in value for cash back, free play & food.
Tier levels are evaluated semi-annually, typically on June 30 and Dec. 31, looking at play for the previous six-month period for local card holders and every 12-month period ending Dec. 31 for non-locals. Points and comp balances expire after showing no activity for a 12-month period.
This Saturday players at Edgewater or Colorado Belle can earn 500 base points for a free logo hoodie all day, through 9 p.m.
Visitors to Edgewater and Colorado Belle can enjoy the beautiful Nevada desert scenery and refreshing views of the Colorado River by taking a walk along the Laughlin Riverwalk. Services include summer jet ski rentals and affordable river cruises to Davis Dam or Lake Havasu City.
