SLS offering 50 percent off to all military during Military Appreciation Month

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, the resort will “Salute Local Service” by increasing its standard 25 percent discount at most of its restaurants, available year-round to all military, to 50 percent. Plus, there is a 20 percent discount on accommodations for active and retired members of the military and first responders.

The offer will be available at Katsuya, serving Japanese classics; Cleo, serving contemporary Mediterranean cuisine; Umami Burger, Beer Garden & Sports Book, serving acclaimed burgers paired with craft beer in an outdoor beer garden; 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria; and Northside Café & Chinese Kitchen, serving an expansive menu of breakfast dishes, sandwiches, entrees and authentic Chinese dishes, around the clock.

Additionally, military personnel and veterans can enjoy this offer at the resort’s Center Bar and Monkey Bar. The discount will be applied at the time of purchase May 1-31, and excludes Bazaar Meat by José Andrés and in-room dining. The offer is valid for all active and retired military with an accompanying military ID. Additional good news is that SLS Las Vegas always offers free parking and valet service to hotel guests and visitors.

LINQ

The American Cornhole League National 6 Tournament will be held April 28-30 with players competing for a $5,000 prize pool. Players from all levels are bringing their bags and their “A-game” to compete in the ACL Tournament at The Vortex and at The LINQ. All are welcome to stop by any time beginning at 6 p.m. Friday.

The fun continues all day Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 a.m. on both days. Watch league members compete, enjoy refreshments and music, or try your hand at the competition. There will be open play for the public, sit-n-go tournaments, special challenges, giveaways and prizes. Anyone can play and anyone can win.

On-site registration will be $10 more per tournament. There are plenty of events open to the public that do not require pre-registration.

Tuscany

Every day, PUB 365 hosts Happy Hour with food and drink specials available 3-6 p.m. daily and 11 p.m.-2 a.m. nightly. Food specials include 50-cent chicken wings; $2 slow roasted chicken or carnitas tacos; $2 certified Angus beef sliders; $5 pork or veal bratwurst; $3 beer battered onion rings; and $1 pub chips. Select beers and house wine are available starting at $3.65.

Rampart

Hawthorn Grill at Rampart Casino now features Happy Hour at their bar, lounge and patio areas. The Happy Hour menu is available Monday through Friday, 4-6 p.m., offering half-priced specialty and classic cocktails, as well as beer and wine specials.

From the bar menu, guests can enjoy half-priced bar favorites such as Classic Shrimp Cocktail, Thick-Cut Onion Rings, hand-cut Mojito Fries, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Sriracha Wings or the Hawthorn Burger prepared with aged cheddar, butter pickle, lettuce, tomato and secret sauce on a brioche bun.

Treasure Island

To honor Local heroes, Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is offering complimentary admission to firefighters, police officers, military, and first responders this Friday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. (Last entry at 9 p.m.) Just show proper ID at the box office to receive free admission.
