It’s Week 7 of the NFL season and this week’s stop on my 2019 Las Vegas Sports Bar World Tour brought me to Time-Out Sports Bar & Grill located at 6138 W. Charleston Road.
Time-Out has TV’s located all around the bar, so no matter where you sit you will have at least three games right in front of you. There are several TV’s located in the dining area and another area that has a bar-type ledge that you can belly up to with several more TV’s for your viewing pleasure.
There is another section with a pool table and more TV’s there as well.
Now lets get to the food as we can’t watch games without having some good stuff to munch on.
One of my favorite items when watching games is their Chip & Triple Dip. You get a big basket of fresh made tortilla chips served with salsa, nacho cheese and queso blanco sauce for dipping. This is a great appetizer to start with for an afternoon of watching football.
It wouldn’t be a football day if we didn’t try out the wings and they were spot-on. They have several sauces and dry rub flavors too. The wings are very good and cooked just right, having a nice crispness without being dry. I’m a big fan of their wings.
The menu is pretty extensive as they have everything from salads to pasta dishes to sandwiches. I have had several of their sandwiches and two of my favorites are the French Dip and the Philly Cheesesteak.
I have said many times a good sandwich can be ruined by an average hoagie roll, but the bread they use is excellent and really puts their sandwiches over the top. This isn’t your average bar food.
On Tuesday nights they have Bar Trivia so you can test your knowledge against other people. Wednesday night is wing night with 50-cent wings. Happy Hour is daily from 3-6 pm with 2-for-1 drinks.
The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and the food is great. If you are a Buffalo Bills fan you will feel right at home as Time-Out is a Bills bar.
I give Time-Out Sports Bar & Grill a Rating of 3.75 Forks.
