Chris Cantor performs shades of Sinatra at Clarion Hotel

Chris Cantor is not the first singer to perform Frank Sinatra classics, but we doubt anyone else chauffeured former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright around Las Vegas.

"I put dark shades on, slicked the hair back and was her personal escort for two days," said Cantor, who joins the four person ensemble cast of Shades of Sinatra this Saturday at 8 p.m., at the Clarion Hotel (formerly the Greek Isles) on Convention Center Dr.

Cantor has been singing professionally since 1993 when he did radio and TV shows in Philadelphia, his home town. "I would sing Neil Diamond and Engelbert Humperdinck songs at concerts. I am not a Sinatra singer, but I love all the music of Sinatra. Shades of Sinatra is not a look-a-like show, but a tribute to his music." The show features over 30 of Sinatra’s biggest hits.
