Several new race and sportsbooks have opened around the valley, including at Rampart Casino, which recently unveiled its newest property renovation project. The newly constructed space, which replaced JC’s Irish Pub, spans nearly 6,000 square feet just off the main casino floor and boasts 126 seats, including 55 private carrels for race bettors.

The race and sportsbook is also home to a new Race & Sports Bar – a 50 person-capacity bar and lounge featuring 10 bar-top gaming machines and plenty of televisions surrounding the bar for fans to keep up with all the action.

Visual technology greets guests from the moment they walk toward the race and sportsbook with an expansive electronic ticker that runs through the bar and lounge, giving fans constant updates on sporting news. The focal point of the main sportsbook is a more than 50-foot customizable LED screen that can be split to show multiple games, events, and programmed messaging.

The sportsbook additionally houses 80 HD televisions throughout the venue, including nine 60-inch monitors. Just to the side of the LED screen, technology will continue with the odds board updating in real time.

Catch the game at any of the Thursday Night Football parties throughout the season and enjoy freebies such as hats, t-shirts, and keychains. On the first Thursday of every month from 5 to 7 p.m., football fans can enjoy complimentary select shots. Guests are encouraged to enter the raffle drawings for a chance to win Miller-Coors branded items such as golf bags, coolers, mini fridges, and jerseys.

Raffle drawings will be held during the following Monday night game at halftime. Guests can enter by purchasing a Coors Light draft for $2 or by making a $10 parlay wager beginning each Thursday to Monday. Customers must be present to win. In addition, female bettors can savor a sweet sip, or two, of rosé with parlays throughout the season. Simply place a parlay bet and receive a coupon for a free glass of rosé redeemable at the bar.

AC-Decatur

Also, Arizona Charlie’s Hotel & Casino Decatur, located at 740 South Decatur Boulevard, has unveiled its fully remodeled sports book. The 4,000-square foot space sits next to the recently remodeled poker room and welcomes gamers and sports lovers alike.

The remodel includes new carpeting, fresh paint, new countertops, chairs, and more. The sportsbook is now home to four VIP booths to cater to select clientele and all guests will enjoy 36 new HD televisions, two of which are more than 200 inches wide. All of the betting odds boards have been updated as well.

The book will offer a weekly second chance football drawing that will run through football season. Guests will receive a drawing ticket for every $10 losing professional football bet. Drawings will occur every Monday during the half-time show with the top prize being $500 cash and other chances to win sports memorabilia or $25 gift cards.

Wynn

The new race and sportsbookwent through extensive renovation with state-of-the-art technology, a sophisticated design, and new restaurant concept – all highlighted by a nearly 1,600 square-foot wraparound LED video screen. And Encore now also features a new race and sportsbook offering its own state-of-the-art technology, three betting stations, and multiple televisions.

Until next week… good luck and good gaming!
