Celebrate Mule Mondays at the Corduroy

February 28, 2018 2:30 AM

Corduroy is giving Fremont Street revelers a reason to raise a copper mug on Mondays with the launch of its weekly celebration ‘Mule Mondays’! The beginning-of-the-week revelry will give guests a reason to gather with half off of its infamous Moscow Mules made with Ketel One Vodka, lime juice and house-made ginger beer on draft (also available with rye for a Frontier Mule).

But first, on Saturday, March 3rd, better known to most as National Moscow Mule Day, ‘Mule Mondays’ will make its preview at Corduroy. Starting at 4 p.m. and staking the bar-proclaimed title of Best Moscow Mules in the Southwest, Corduroy will throw a Russian-themed party (not the political kind) in celebration of its popular Moscow Mule cocktails that keep guests lined up into the streets of Fremont East. Complete with a Vladimir Putin look-alike contest* (we’ll give you a second for that to sink in) at 7 pm, a DJ will also be on-hand spinning lively Russian and Slavic jams as guests celebrate with pin-the-tail on the donkey and of course, half off ($5.50) of Moscow Mules. *The winner of the Putin look-alike contest will closely revel in the famed Russian ruler’s wealth with his own complimentary bar tab worth $200.

Every Monday thereafter, beginning March 5th, ‘Mule Mondays’ at Corduroy will officially ‘kick’ off at 4 pm (‘til 9 pm) with half-off the beloved downtown watering hole’s infamous Moscow Mules ($5.50).
