Aug 9, 2018 10:05 AM

After a one-year hiatus for expansion construction, Monday Night Football will return to Pala Casino Spa & Resort starting at 4:10 p.m., Monday, September 10, in the newly-expanded Luis Rey’s Bar & Lounge when the New York Jets meet the Detroit Lions in the first game of a National Football League MNF season-opening doubleheader. Then at 7:20 p.m., the Los Angeles Rams play the Oakland Raiders.

After opening night, MNF games will start at 5:30 p.m. (PDT and PST), each week. Pala’s MNF parties will feature two themes, Fan’s Night and Tailgate Party Night, and will alternate each week.

All fans, 21-and-over, in attendance will have the opportunity to win NFL merchandise  prizes throughout the first three quarters of each game during commercial breaks, timeouts, quarter changes and any break in the action. On opening night, prize drawings will be held during the Rams-Raiders game. Fan’s Night prizes will include NFL Wilson footballs, NFL watches and team jerseys. Tailgate Party gifts will include mini helmets, stadium chairs and tailgate organizers. Each week also will feature a $100 cash drawing at the end of the third quarter. Two steak and crab dinners for two (four total), with VIP booth service will be awarded at each MNF game. NFL hats and key chains of the competing teams will be awarded each week. And, four pizzas also will be awarded at the beginning of each game.

MNF at Luis Rey’s will be free and open to the public. Prize drawings will be conducted with a traditional ticket and drum system. Fans, 21-and-over, will receive one free drawing ticket and can earn additional drawing tickets with a minimum $5 or more purchase of food; a minimum $10 or more purchase at the bar, or by purchasing the featured beer of the week. Fans can earn drawing entries until half time and drawings will be held during each game until the end of the third quarter.  There will be no limit on the amount of tickets or prizes guests can earn, however they can only earn tickets up to the start of the third quarter.  Guests who are Privileges Card members will receive an additional ticket. Fans can get drawing tickets starting at 5:15 p.m. each week, but on Sept. 10, drawing tickets will be given out starting at 6 p.m. for the 7:20 p.m. game only.

Luis Rey’s will offer full bar service and guests can purchase food from the Happy Hour menu from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and from the regular menu all evening.  The winners of the four steak and crab dinners, with booth service, will be presented their prizes the following week.
