Belly up to the bar, enjoy a drink, and make yourself comfortable. The Tavern is a local Las Vegas bar offering fresh made food and drinks, gambling, events and live entertainment, pool tables and some of the hottest dart board games found in any bar in Vegas.
Previously known as Crowbar, the 24-hour Tavern, located on the corner of S. Rainbow and Charleston, opened in 2017 under Dan Reynolds’ new ownership.
In just over a year, The Tavern has expanded to a full service menu, offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, salads and appetizers, all served 24 hours a day. Popular items include the spicy Asian Pork Street Tacos, Chili Lime Wings and Pulled Pork Sliders. Two noteworthy specials include a $20 steak dinner (choice of ribeye or filet) with two sides and a $30 Surf N Turf dinner that includes a 10-ounce filet, Gulf shrimp, asparagus and roasted red potatoes.
Happy Hours run three times daily – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 5 to 7 p.m. and late night from midnight to 2 a.m. During those times well drinks are $3 off regular prices, draft beer is discounted $1 and four popular appetizers are $5 – Cheeseburger Sliders, Chili Cheese Fries, Mozzarella Sticks and BBQ Chicken Quesadillas. On Sundays, bottomless mimosas are available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $20. Beer buckets (five bottled domestic beers) are available anytime for $10.
Gaming promotions kick in during Happy Hour times too. The bar offers 15 gaming machines with denominations from five-cents to $1. Games include slots, video poker, video keno and video blackjack. Golden Gaming runs the operating system for The Tavern’s Player’s Club. New members signing up receive $20 in free play after playing their first $20. Point earning varies per game and denomination played.
Players receive a comped drink after $20 coin-in. A Spin the Wheel promotion runs during Happy Hour times. Hit a four-of-a-kind, straight flush or royal flush and spin the wheel for a chance to win from $5 up to $1,000 in free play. Anything over $250 gets paid in cash. A raffle drawing for $100 cash is held on Friday evenings at 8 p.m. Players earn raffle tickets by hitting four-of-a-kinds, straight flushes or royal flushes, or hitting a five-spot or higher on video keno. You must be present to win at the drawings.
During the upcoming NFL Monday Night Games, The Tavern will be raffling off team jerseys – one from each team playing that night’s game – at the end of the game. Get a raffle ticket when you order any drink and get two tickets for four-of-a-kinds, straight flushes or royal flushes, or hitting a five-spot or higher on video keno.
