English rock band Deep Purple is considered to be a pioneer of heavy metal and modern rock music since they formed in Hertford in 1968 with founding members including guitarist Blackmore, vocalist Rod Evans, bassist Nick Simper, keyboardist Jon Lord and drummer Ian Paice. The band got its start with their debut album, Shade of Deep Purple. With hit songs throughout their 40-year tenure, such as “Smoke On the Water” and “Highway Star,” Deep Purple has paved the way as an exceptionally influential rock group. Deep Purple is currently made up of founding member Ian Paice, Roger Glover, Ian Gillan, Steve Morse and Don Airey. In addition to being featured in Guinness Book of World Records as “the globe’s loudest band” for a 1972 concert at London’s Rainbow Theatre, the band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide.

American singer, songwriter, actor and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Vincent Damon Furnier, better known as Alice Cooper, is recognized for his distinctive raspy voice and eccentric stage shows. Alice Cooper was originally a band that got its start in 1969 and consisted of Furnier on vocals and harmonica, lead guitarist Glen Buxton, rhythm guitarist Michael Bruce, bass guitarist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neal Smith. Their 1971 hit song “I’m Eighteen” off their album, Love It to Death, launched their careers into the spotlight. Furnier adopted the band’s name as his own in the 1970s and began his solo career with hit albums such as Welcome to My Nightmare and Welcome 2 My Nightmare. Since launching his solo career, Cooper has released more than 19 solo albums.

Seattle’s indie folk band, Fleet Foxes, earned its international musical career from its self-titled debut album released in 2008 which includes hit song “White Winter Hymnal.” Current members of the band include lead vocalist and guitarist Robin Pecknold, guitarist and mandolin player, Skyler Skjelset, keyboardist and mandolin player, Casey Wescott, bass guitarist and guitarist, Christian Wargo, and upright bassist, violinist and percussionist, Morgan Henderson. The band’s highly anticipated new album, Crack-Up, will be released in June 2017 and comes six years after the band’s last album.

Bryan Ferry

From his earliest recordings with Roxy Music in the early 1970s, Bryan Ferry has taken his place as one of the most iconic and innovative artists to emerge in pop music. His first solo album, These Foolish Things, introduced Ferry’s cover versions of recordings by artists whom he admires, including “It’s My Party” by Leslie Gore and “Piece of My Heart” by Janis Joplin. Ferry, whose careers spans over 40 years, is known for his ultra-modern cover performance of the best hit songs. Ferry’s fourteenth and latest solo album, “Avonmore” was hailed by fans and critics alike as a modern classic.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, the electronic hip-hop duo Die Antwoord was formed in 2008 by rappers Ninja and Yolandi Visser along with producer God, formerly known as DJ Hi-Tek. The group’s debut album $O$, released in 2009, was released for complimentary download online and gained Die Antwoord international attention with the accompaniment of its music video for hit song “Enter the Ninja.” Their newest single “Love Drug” is set to drop today and the duo’s fifth and final album, Book of Zef, is set to be released this year.

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and St. Paul & The Broken Bones

Troy Andrews, better known as his stage name Trombone Shorty, is a musician from New Orleans. As the younger brother of trumpeter and bandleader, James Andres, and the grandson of singer and songwriter, Jessie Hill, Trombone Shorty has been surrounded with music his entire life. He is best known for his skills in trombone and trumpet, but can also play the drums, organ and tuba. Working with some of the biggest names in rock, pop, jazz and funk, Trombone Shorty started his own band, Orleans Avenue, and has been touring with them since 2009.

A six-piece soul band from Birmingham, AL, St. Paul and The Broken Bones has been bringing the funk since they formed in 2012. With two albums and two singles under its belt, the band has opened for many iconic bands while touring, including The Rolling Stones. The band is composed of vocalist Paul Janeway, guitarist Browan Lollar, bassist Jesse Phillips, drummer Andrew Lee, keyboardist Al Gamble and trumpeter Allen Branstetter. Their second album, Sea of Noise, was released in September 2016 and continues to climb the charts.

Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona is one of the most successful Latin American artists of all time with more than 40 million albums sold. Arjona is often referred to as El Animal Nocturno thanks to his breakthrough success with his four studio album which bears the same name. While his music ranges from ballads to Latin pop, Arjona is known for his lyrical style, and often addresses topics such as love, sexuality, violence, racism and immigration in his music. His biggest hit song "Fuiste Tú” was the second single released off his 2011 album Independiente and sustained his success as an influential artist. Arjona’s newest album, Circo Soledad, which was recently released, debuted at Number one on Billboard’s Latin Pop Album chart.

Mexican-American artist Pepe Aguilar has been around the music industry his entire life. As the son of recording legends Antonio Aguilar and Flor Ilvestre, Aguilar was influenced and encouraged at an early age by his parents to begin singing. Among his most famous albums are 1998’s Por Mujeres Como Tu, which spent nearly a year on the Latin and Mexican charts and 1999’s Por una Mujer Bonita, which won him a Grammy for Best Mexican-American/Tejano Music Performance. With four Grammy awards and four Latin Grammy awards, Aguilar has become a strong influence in the Latin scene with his modern pop music. His latest album, No Lo Habia Dicho was released last year and is his 26th studio album.

PIXIES

American alternative rock band PIXIES formed in 1986 in Boston. Currently made up of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Black Francis, lead guitarist Joey Santiago, bassist and vocalist Paz Lenchantin and drummer David Lovering, PIXIES are known for its psychedelic and surf rock sound. The band launched its career with hit song “Where is my mind” off their second album Surfer Rosa. PIXIES popularity grew even more when they announced in 1993 that they were disbanding. After an 11 year hiatus, the band reunited for sold-out world tours in 2004. The band’s newest album, Head Carrier, was released last year and includes hit song “Um Chagga Lagga.”

Boulevard Pool

Boulevard Pool is a multilevel pool experience by day and an intimate outdoor concert venue with unobstructed sightlines of The Strip by night.

Boulevard Pool transforms its Marquee into a colossal movie screen for Dive in Movies, showing favorite films from high above the Las Vegas Strip every Monday night through Labor Day (Sept. 4). Guests are also invited to enjoy a night swim while watching their favorite blockbusters. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Cost of admission is $5 per person for non-hotel guests or complimentary for hotel guests and children under the age of 5.
