Alberta will open its regulated online gambling market on July 13, allowing private casino operators to legally offer services in the province. The launch marks a major expansion of online gambling in Canada, making Alberta the second province — after Ontario — to open a regulated, competitive private market.

The Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC), formed to oversee the new online gaming market, will publish the official list of approved operators on July 13.
