Fanatics Sportsbook is live in 21 states and should launch in Washington, DC shortly. Create a new sports betting account with Fanatics in September to claim a $1,000 welcome bonus. You do not need a Fanatics Sportsbook promo code to unlock the bonus.

Keep reading this Fanatics Sportsbook promo code guide to learn exactly how the sign-up offer works. We’ll walk you through getting signed up, making your first deposit and of course go over precisely how the bonus for new users works. You’ll also learn all about Fanatics Sportsbook as whole. First things first though, let’s cover the Fanatics Sportsbook new user offer so you can get started in the best way possible.

How to claim the Fanatics Sportsbook sign-up offer

Here is how the Fanatics Sportsbook promo code welcome bonus works:

  1. Open a new account with Fanatics Sportsbook. A Fanatics Sportsbook promo code is not needed.
  2. Deposit at least $5 into your account. If you want to claim the full $1,000 bonus, you’ll need to start with a minimum deposit of $100.
  3. Then, the first bet you place daily for your first 10 days with Fanatics will be matched 100% for between $5 and $100. To quality, this bet must have odds of -200 or longer.
  4. The bet match comes at FanCash, which an be converted into bonus bets or use to buy merchandise at the Fanatics online shop.

Fanatics Online Sportsbook Features

Fanatics may still be relatively new in several states, but there’s a lot to like about the platform. The FanCash rewards system is unique and one of the most practical rewards programs at any sportsbook. Plus, streaming is available for NFL bettors, odds are competitive, and Fanatics offers easy deposits and withdrawals.

As far as market coverage goes, Fanatics is competitive, with all major US leagues covered, plus college sports, golf, tennis, motorsports, and UFC. Below, we’ll cover a few of the top reasons people are currently enjoying Fanatics Sportsbook.

FanCash Rewards

Fanatics Sportsbook offers a rewards program like no other—FanCash. Every time you place a wager with Fanatics, you’ll get FanCash back, the same way you might earn cash back on a credit card. You’ll earn 1% of your stake back on straight bets, which rises to 3% back on parlays, and a full 5% back on every same-game parlay. FanCash can’t be withdrawn, but you can use it as you would a bonus bet or spend it like real money on the Fanatics retail site, where you can buy official sports apparel and other official merchandise.

Plus, when you use the Fanatics Sportsbook promo code you can claim a welcome bonus worth up to $1,000.

NFL Streaming

Fanatics is a particularly compelling proposition if you’re a football fan. At Fanatics, when you put a real money bet down on an NFL game, you’ll be able to start streaming that game. With relatively few sportsbooks offering in-platform streaming for any sport, let alone the NFL, this is a major perk for Fanatics customers.

Withdrawal Tracking

In general, the cashiering process at Fanatics is exactly how it should be: smooth and secure. One unique advantage at Fanatics is the signature “Withdrawal Tracker,” which lets you keep tabs on your withdrawn funds while they’re en route to your account. You can withdraw via bank transfer, wire transfer, or by requesting a check in the mail.

Mobile App

Like any self-respecting sportsbook, Fanatics offers a mobile platform for both iOS and Android devices. Better still, the app has received glowing reviews on both platforms, averaging a user score of 4.7/5 on the Apple App Store and 4.5/5 on the Google Play Store. The app is well-designed, with an easy-to-use interface that lets you place wagers, monitor your bets, deposit, withdraw, and more—all with just a few taps on your screen. You can even access the Fanatics Casino in the same app (eligible states only). In fact, Fanatics is so app-centric that there is no website version of the sportsbook.

Fanatics Sportsbook App

Fanatics iOS App

Apple users can bet with ease using the Fanatics iOS app, which has an average rating of 4.7/5 based on over 20,000 reviews. It ranks among the top 20 apps in the sports category on the App Store and is regularly updated to add new features and ensure reliable performance. You can find it by searching “Fanatics Sportsbook & Casino” on the App Store.

Fanatics Android App

Android users don’t have to miss out on the fun, either. Like the Fanatics iOS app, the Fanatics Android app is popular and well-reviewed. It has more than 500,000 downloads so far and an average user score of 4.5/5 based on more than 16,000 reviews. The app was last updated on April 24, 2024, with a handful of bug fixes intended to keep the app running smoothly.

Fanatics Sportsbook Site

Unfortunately, desktop bettors cannot currently bet with Fanatics in their web browser. The Fanatics Sportsbook site is useful enough for gathering information on the platform, but there’s no desktop app, PC client, or playable site. In other words, if you want to bet, you’ll need the mobile app.

Getting Started with Fanatics Sports Betting

Downloading the Fanatics Sportsbook app is super simple. The entire process should take 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind that, as of right now, the app is the only way to play with Fanatics, so if you want to bet with Fanatics, you’re going to have to download the app. To do so, follow the steps we’ve listed below.

1

Download the Fanatics Sportsbook App

Fanatics keeps things straightforward and offers one integrated app for all of the states where it operates. Casino players in eligible states can even access the Fanatics casino platform in the same app. To download it, either click a link on this page to the Fanatics website and scan the QR code, or search “Fanatics Sportsbook & Casino” on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app is free to download and should take only a minute or two to install.

2

Create an Account

The next step is to open the app and create an account. You’ll need to enter some basic details about yourself, including the last four digits of your SSN, so that Fanatics can verify your identity and your age (you must be 21+ to play). Fortunately, Fanatics uses state-of-the-art SSL encryption and secure software, so you don’t have to worry about your personal details being compromised.

Remember that you don’t need to enter a promo code to claim the welcome bonus at Fanatics. Just enter your details, finalize your registration, and you’re good to go. Fanatics will welcome you with up to $1,000 in bonus bets (details below).

3

Make a Deposit

The next step is an important one: adding money to your Fanatics account. Fanatics lets you deposit via Apple Pay, PayPal, bank transfer, Venmo, debit card, or wire transfer, and there are no fees associated with any of the available deposit methods. However, there is a $5 minimum on all payment methods. Remember that Fanatics does offer a welcome bonus for up to $1,000 in bonus bets, which we’ll discuss in the next step, so be sure to deposit enough to take advantage of that offer.

4

Place Your First Cash Bet and Earn Up to $100

Once you’ve made your first deposit, you’ll be ready to claim the Fanatics welcome bonus. Once per day for the next 10 days, Fanatics will match your first real money bet of the day in bonus bets up to $100. If you make a $100 bet each day on all 10 days, you’ll earn the maximum value of $1,000 in bonus bets. Of course, you don’t have to claim the full $100 every day. If you started your day with a $20 wager, you’d still receive a $20 bonus bet.

The minimum wager is $5, and the minimum odds requirement is -200 or longer. If you don’t claim the bonus on one of the 10 days, it doesn’t roll over to the next day, so be sure to make a real money bet of $5 or more each day that you want to claim the bonus. Note that bonus bets cannot be withdrawn, and non-wagered bonus bets expire seven days after they are issued to your account.

Where Is Fanatics Sportsbook Available?

Fanatics Arizona

Fanatics Sportsbook has been legal in Arizona since April 2024, thanks to a partnership with the Yavapai-Apache Nation. Arizona is one of the biggest sports and sports betting markets in the American Southwest and a key new jurisdiction for Fanatics as it continues to expand across the country. Keep in mind that prop betting is prohibited on college sports in Arizona.

Fanatics Colorado

Fanatics Sportsbook first launched in Colorado in December 2023, thanks to a partnership agreement with the Double Eagle Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado. With teams in all of the top domestic sports leagues, Colorado has become a veritable hub for sports bettors. Though there are few restrictions on sports betting in the Mile High State, note that Colorado prohibits prop betting on college sports.

Fanatics Connecticut

Connecticut was another state that Fanatics reached in December 2023, thanks to a license from the Connecticut Lottery Corporation. Although Fanatics has no major partnerships in the state, it is still an excellent option for bettors.

Fanatics Illinois

One of Fanatics Sportsbook’s most recent additions to its roster of legal states is Illinois, where Fanatics launched in April 2024 through an agreement with Hawthorne Race Course in Stickney, near Chicago. Illinois bettors should keep in mind that the state prohibits wagering on any in-state college teams or college events (i.e., Illinois, Illinois State, Northwestern, Loyola, etc.).

Fanatics Indiana

Fanatics Sportsbook arrived in Indiana in February 2024 and is partnered with Penn National Entertainment, specifically with Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg. Indiana has been a major center for sports betting since 2019, and Fanatics has long been eager to enter the market. Note that Indiana does not allow prop betting on college athletes (i.e., player props).

Fanatics Iowa

Fanatics Sportsbook Iowa launched in February 2024 through a partnership with Catfish Bend Casino in Burlington. The Hawkeye State is still a newer market for Fanatics, but the sportsbook is already proving popular. Note that Iowa prohibits making deposits and withdrawals via credit cards, as well as prop betting on college athletes.

Fanatics Kansas

Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Kansas in March 2024 through a partnership agreement with Kansas Crossing Casino in Pittsburg. There are no major restrictions on the bet types available for Fanatics customers in Kansas.

Fanatics Kentucky

Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Kentucky in January 2024 and is partnered with the Oak Grove Racetrack in Oak Grove, on the border with Tennessee. Like in nearby Kansas, there are no major restrictions on sports betting or the Fanatics platform in the state.

Fanatics Louisiana

Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Louisiana in August 2024 thanks to a partnership with Boomtown Casino and Hotel. There are nine Louisiana parishes where you cannot use the Fanatics online sportsbook app in, those parishes are Caldwell, Franklin, West Carroll, Catahoula, Jackson, LaSalle, Sabine, Union and Winn.

Fanatics Maryland

Fanatics Sportsbook opened its doors in Maryland in August 2023 through a licensing partnership with the Washington Commanders of the NFL. This partnership is especially notable as it allows Fanatics to operate the Fanatics Sportsbook at Commanders Field, the first sportsbook situated inside an active NFL stadium.

Fanatics Massachusetts

Fanatics Sportsbook Massachusetts launched in August 2023, along with several other states. In Massachusetts, Fanatics is partnered with Plainridge Park Casino, located in Plainville, near the border with Rhode Island. Massachusetts prohibits betting on all in-state college sports teams except during tournaments (e.g., March Madness and the CFB Playoff).

Fanatics Michigan

Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Michigan in February 2024 through a partnership with the Northern Waters Casino, located in Watersmeet, on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Fanatics customers should note that Michigan is currently one of the few states where the Fanatics Casino is also available. You can access the Fanatics Casino platform directly in the Fanatics Sportsbook & Casino app.

Fanatics New Jersey

New Jersey is the most recent state to see a Fanatics Sportsbook launch, opening its doors in May 2024. Fanatics New Jersey is partnered with the Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford. Sports bettors in the Garden State should note that New Jersey law prohibits betting on in-state college teams or events and prop betting on college athletes, whether in-state or out-of-state.

Fanatics New York

Fanatics Sportsbook New York launched in February 2024 on an online-only basis, with no in-state partnerships. New York state prohibits betting on any in-state college teams, but apart from that, New Yorkers can access the full Fanatics Sportsbook platform, including live betting, NFL streaming, and more.

Fanatics North Carolina

Fanatics Sportsbook launched in North Carolina in March 2024 through a partnership with the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL), who are based in Raleigh. Unlike Fanatics’ partnership with the Washington Commanders, however, there is currently no retail Fanatics location at the PNC Arena.

Fanatics Ohio

Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Ohio in August 2023, where it has become the official sports betting partner of both the Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL) and Cleveland Guardians (MLB). There is a Fanatics Sportsbook retail location directly outside the Right Field Gate of the Guardians’ Progressive Field, as well as outside of Nationwide Arena, home of the Blue Jackets.

Fanatics Pennsylvania

Fanatics launched in Pennsylvania in January 2024. Like in New York, Fanatics Pennsylvania is available exclusively online, and with no major in-state partners. There are no significant restrictions on sports betting in Pennsylvania, meaning betting on college teams (including in-state teams) is permitted.

Fanatics Tennessee

Fanatics Sportsbook Tennessee launched in August 2023 on an online-only basis with no partnerships in the state. Local laws in Tennessee prohibit all betting on college athletes and any in-game college prop betting.

Fanatics Vermont

Sports betting in Vermont arrived in January 2024, with Fanatics Sportsbook debuting immediately after the statewide launch. Fanatics Sportsbook Vermont has no in-state partners, and there are no relevant restrictions on bet types or sports.

Fanatics Virginia

Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Virginia in November 2023, through a partnership with the Colonial Downs Group and the Virginia Lottery. Virginia prohibits all prop betting on college sports, as well as wagering on in-state college teams.

Fanatics West Virginia

Fanatics Sportsbook began operating in West Virginia in November 2023. It is partnered with the Hollywood Casino in Charles Town, and there are no restrictions on available bet types in the state.

Quality of Lines at Fanatics

Does Fanatics Sportsbook Have the Best Odds?

Fanatics Sportsbook is known to offer competitive odds. In our experience using the platform, the betting lines almost always range from fair to good. Fanatics uses the odds provider Amelco, an international B2B supplier that also powers minor sportsbooks like PlayUP, WynnBET, and a few others.

Keep in mind that no single sportsbook can offer the best odds on every market. The best strategy is to keep multiple accounts and “shop” around for the best odds whenever you have a wager in mind. Consider signing up with Fanatics, BetMGM, Caesars, FanDuel, and any others that appeal to you.

How Do the Point Spread and Over/Under Work?

If you’re new to sports betting, it’s crucial that you understand how to place point spread bets and Over/Under wagers. This starts with understanding how the odds work. Using the American format, standard odds are shown as -110. If a wager has odds of -110, you’ll need to place a wager of $110 to return a profit of $100. If the odds were -150, you would need to place a $150 bet to return a profit of $100.

You can also have odds listed with a plus sign (+) rather than a minus sign (-). If the odds were +110, a $100 wager would return $110. At +150, a $100 wager would return $150, and so on. At sportsbooks like Fanatics, you’ll find “minus money” odds associated with favorites and “plus money” odds associated with underdogs—hence the larger payout.

Now that we understand how odds work, let’s dive into the point spread odds for a recent NBA game.

TeamFanatics SpreadFanDuel Spread
Timberwolves+4 (-108)+4.5 (-115)
Nuggets-4 (-112)-4.5 (-105)

For the above game, Fanatics and FanDuel differ slightly in their point spread odds. As is usually the case, the difference is minor but enough to make it worth comparing the two before you bet.

In this case, if you wanted to bet on the Nuggets, FanDuel gives you the option of backing them to cover a larger spread (-4.5) and getting slightly better odds in return (-105). At Fanatics, the spread is easier to cover (-4), but the slightly less generous odds reflect that (-112). The differences here are pretty negligible given that the half-point balances out the small odds discrepancy.

Moving on from point spreads, another popular bet type is the Over/Under, or totals wager. These are wagers on how many combined points will be scored in the game. The sportsbook sets a total figure, and bettors predict whether the actual total will be over or under that total. Typically, both the Over and the Under are offered at or around -110.

Here are the game totals for the Timberwolves vs. Nuggets game we discussed above:

  • Fanatics: 206 (Over -110, Under -110)
  • FanDuel: 205.5 (Over -110, Under -110)

If you’re planning on betting the Over, you’re better off doing so at FanDuel, since you’re a half-point more likely to win your wager. However, if you’re thinking of taking the under, you should do so at Fanatics for the same reason. This is another good argument for shopping around at multiple sportsbooks and making sure you have the most favorable betting line.

Does Fanatics Have Good Moneyline Odds?

Moneyline wagers are the most straightforward of all bet types: just pick which team will win the game. There’s no spread to cover, just a betting line for each team to win. Here are some moneyline odds from Fanatics, FanDuel, and Bet365 for a recent MLB game.

TeamFanatics Moneyline OddsFanDuel Moneyline OddsBet365 Moneyline Odds
Phillies-135-142-140
Mets+114+120+120

If you’re betting on the Mets moneyline, it’s a toss-up between FanDuel and Bet365, both of which are offering identical +120 odds. However, if you’re betting on the Phillies moneyline, you’re better off choosing Fanatics, which has the most favorable line at -135.

This example further illustrates that it really pays to compare sportsbooks. In this case, choosing the best sportsbook depends not only on what game you want to bet on but also on which of the two teams you’re backing.

Shopping for the Best Futures Odds

Most wagers are placed on quickly upcoming games. Futures wagers, however, are a type of bet that lets you predict further-off results. For instance, you might make an early-season wager on the eventual Super Bowl champion or the winner of the NBA Finals.

Since it’s hard to predict things that are still weeks, months, or even a year away, futures wagers are difficult to get right, and the odds typically reflect that. On top of that, the odds can change quite dramatically over the course of the season. In our experience, futures are by far and away some of the toughest wagers to turn into wins.

If you are looking to make futures picks, your best bet is (as always) to shop the odds. No sportsbook will offer the best odds on every single futures pick. For instance, Fanatics might have better odds on the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl 59, while FanDuel could have better odds on the Kansas City Chiefs to win it.

Recent Fanatics Partnerships and Updates

Fanatics has scored some prestigious partnerships during the past couple of years. It has partnered with casinos, racetracks, and pro sports franchises, like the Cleveland Guardians (MLB), Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL), Carolina Hurricanes (NHL), and Washington Commanders (NFL). In 2023, Fanatics became the first sportsbook to operate an in-person location in an active NFL stadium when it opened at Commanders Field (then FedEx Field).

Fanatics is constantly seeking out new partners and licensing opportunities in new states. In April 2024, Fanatics added Illinois and Arizona to its list of legal states, and New Jersey the following month. As Fanatics Sportsbook continues to grow its presence nationwide, more states may well be added to the list.

To wrap it up: Fanatics Sportsbook pros and cons

As we’ve covered in this review, Fanatics Sportsbook has become a great option for sports bettors. After expanding rapidly in late 2023 and early 2024, it’s now available in nearly two dozen states. After spending some time with the app ourselves, here’s our definitive list of pros and cons.
