Where Is Fanatics Sportsbook Available?
Fanatics Sportsbook has been legal in Arizona since April 2024, thanks to a partnership with the Yavapai-Apache Nation. Arizona is one of the biggest sports and sports betting markets in the American Southwest and a key new jurisdiction for Fanatics as it continues to expand across the country. Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Louisiana in August 2024 thanks to a partnership with Boomtown Casino and Hotel. There are nine Louisiana parishes where you cannot use the Fanatics online sportsbook app in, those parishes are Caldwell, Franklin, West Carroll, Catahoula, Jackson, LaSalle, Sabine, Union and Winn.
Fanatics Sportsbook opened its doors in Maryland in August 2023 through a licensing partnership with the Washington Commanders of the NFL. Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Ohio in August 2023, where it has become the official sports betting partner of both the Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL) and Cleveland Guardians (MLB). There is a Fanatics Sportsbook retail location directly outside the Right Field Gate of the Guardians’ Progressive Field, as well as outside of Nationwide Arena, home of the Blue Jackets.
Fanatics launched in Pennsylvania in January 2024. Like in New York, Fanatics Pennsylvania is available exclusively online, and with no major in-state partners. There are no significant restrictions on sports betting in Pennsylvania, meaning betting on college teams (including in-state teams) is permitted.
Fanatics Sportsbook Tennessee launched in August 2023 on an online-only basis with no partnerships in the state. Local laws in Tennessee prohibit all betting on college athletes and any in-game college prop betting.

Does Fanatics Sportsbook Have the Best Odds?
Fanatics Sportsbook is known to offer competitive odds. In our experience using the platform, the betting lines almost always range from fair to good. Fanatics uses the odds provider Amelco, an international B2B supplier that also powers minor sportsbooks like PlayUP, WynnBET, and a few others.
Keep in mind that no single sportsbook can offer the best odds on every market. The best strategy is to keep multiple accounts and “shop” around for the best odds whenever you have a wager in mind. Consider signing up with Fanatics, BetMGM, Caesars, FanDuel, and any others that appeal to you.
How Do the Point Spread and Over/Under Work?
If you’re new to sports betting, it’s crucial that you understand how to place point spread bets and Over/Under wagers. This starts with understanding how the odds work. Using the American format, standard odds are shown as -110. If a wager has odds of -110, you’ll need to place a wager of $110 to return a profit of $100. If the odds were -150, you would need to place a $150 bet to return a profit of $100.
You can also have odds listed with a plus sign (+) rather than a minus sign (-). If the odds were +110, a $100 wager would return $110. At +150, a $100 wager would return $150, and so on. At sportsbooks like Fanatics, you’ll find “minus money” odds associated with favorites and “plus money” odds associated with underdogs—hence the larger payout.

For the above game, Fanatics and FanDuel differ slightly in their point spread odds. As is usually the case, the difference is minor but enough to make it worth comparing the two before you bet.
In this case, if you wanted to bet on the Nuggets, FanDuel gives you the option of backing them to cover a larger spread (-4.5) and getting slightly better odds in return (-105). At Fanatics, the spread is easier to cover (-4), but the slightly less generous odds reflect that (-112). The differences here are pretty negligible given that the half-point balances out the small odds discrepancy.
Moving on from point spreads, another popular bet type is the Over/Under, or totals wager. These are wagers on how many combined points will be scored in the game. The sportsbook sets a total figure, and bettors predict whether the actual total will be over or under that total. Typically, both the Over and the Under are offered at or around -110.

This example further illustrates that it really pays to compare sportsbooks. In this case, choosing the best sportsbook depends not only on what game you want to bet on but also on which of the two teams you’re backing.
