Bally Bet Tennessee became the Volunteer State’s 11th sports betting app with its Oct. 17 debut, and the launch comes at a time when gaming operators are collecting bets at a record level.
Tennessee sports betting set a single-month high mark in September 2024, with $520.8 million in wagers changing hands. September marked only the second time in state history that betting passed the half-billion-dollar threshold. November 2023 set the previous mark with $517.1 million in handle.

Parlays, NHL Part of Bally’s Growth Plan
Bally Bet is an official sports betting partner of the Nashville Predators. The company hopes fan engagement like the “Goals for Gear” Predators jersey giveaway will catch the attention of Tennessee bettors.
“Bally Bet has fostered a strong connection with the Predators’ loyal supporters,” Bally’s Interactive said in its debut announcement. “With the app’s launch, fans can anticipate even more exciting in-arena and social activations throughout the NHL season.”
The app also displays Parlay Zone, a customizable daily list of pre-built parlay options. Industry experts offer insights when users click on the “Picks” tab on the homepage.
Tennessee Bets Up 24.6% Year Over Year
Tennessee’s $520.8 million in September 2024 bets is 24.6% higher when compared to $418.1 million in September 2023. The Tennessee Titans went 1-3 month in four September games, but bettors are still looking for an edge as they use the top NFL betting apps over the first third of the season.
The state’s 21+ bettors can wager on college sports, so SEC bets on the Tennessee Volunteers helped drive the 2024 record numbers.
Tennessee online sportsbooks reported $52.1 million in revenue from September’s handle, and the state collected about $9.6 million in taxes from the haul.
