BetMGM to Award $2.5M in Prizes During Cavinder Twins’ “Court of Legends” Event

BetMGM brings “The Court of Legends” to Las Vegas for Final Four weekend. Bet on Haley vs. Hanna Cavinder one-on-one to win a share of $2 million.

BetMGM, a leading national online casino and sportsbook brand, is hosting an immersive basketball experience called “The Court of Legends” the weekend of the NCAA men’s basketball Final Four and the women’s championship.

The event, held April 4 and 5 at Bellagio Hotel & Casino, will culminate with a multidisciplinary skills competition featuring social media influencers and twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder, alongside former Division I athletes.

To top it off, the sisters will play one-on-one for the first time in public. The matchup, “Cavinder v. Cavinder Live from Vegas,” serves as the event’s namesake.

$2 Million promotion: Pick the winning twin

As part of the showdown, BetMGM is running a promotion awarding $2 million in bonus bets. To win a share of the prize, BetMGM users must correctly pick which sister will win the one-on-one battle.

Users can submit their pick for free through April 5 via the BetMGM website or app.

“We’re raising the bar and giving fans a reason to tune in and be part of ‘Cavinder v. Cavinder Live from Vegas,'” BetMGM Chief Marketing Officer Casey Hurbis said in a statement.

March matchups: $500,000 bracket contest

BetMGM is also hosting a $500,000 March Matchups Pick ’Em contest. During each round of the tournament, players pick game spreads; those with the most correct picks win a share of the $500,000 bonus-bet prize pool.

Note: Bonus bets are promotional credits for use on BetMGM’s wagering platforms and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

From the court to a digital empire

Haley and Hanna Cavinder have built a substantial social media presence centered on their journey as college basketball players.

Haley played for Fresno State University and the University of Miami. During her junior year, she set the Division I single-season record for highest free-throw percentage. Hanna followed a similar path, starting her career at Fresno State before also transferring to Miami.

The twins have amassed a massive digital following, including:

  • 4.5 million TikTok followers

  • 457,000 Instagram followers

  • 223,000 YouTube subscribers
