Caesars Entertainment is celebrating a milestone.

The well-known gaming brand launched its first-ever in-house online slots title, Ca$hline. Developed by the brand’s game studio, Empire Creative, the game is currently available in New Jersey. Matthew Sunderland, Caesars’ chief igaming officer, praised the studio’s efforts.

“Ca$hline is built to give players simple, meaningful choices every time they play,” Sunderland said in a press release. “The team has created a streamlined, player-driven experience anchored by choice, control, and fresh mechanics.”

Caesars online casinos featuring Ca$hline

New Jersey online casino users can play Ca$hline through Caesars’ three platforms in the state: Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino.

While Ca$hline is the first slots title Empire Creative has built and launched, it is the fourth proprietary online gambling title the division has released. Three Empire table games have previously gone live: Signature Blackjack, Signature American Roulette, and Signature Baccarat.

Ca$hline gameplay: Reels, bets, and bonuses

Caesars’ new slots title features three reels and several bonuses. Players can choose to bet on one, two, or all three reels. Waging on all three reels unlocks extra features and better odds. One feature, Reverse Respin, “gives players a second chance on near-miss outcomes,” according to Caesars.

Caesars’ footprint in the US iGaming market

Seven states offer real-money online casino gaming, and Caesars operates its igaming platform in four of them: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

While the operator does not participate in online casinos in Connecticut, Delaware, and Rhode Island, it has become a staple brand in the country’s three largest markets: Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In a given month, those three states generate more than $700 million in combined revenue.

However, Caesars faces stiff competition in those high-revenue states. FanDuel and DraftKings currently lead the market in online casino revenue, making it difficult for Caesars and other operators to capture a sizable market share.

Future for Empire Creative and in-house gaming

Game variety is a critical factor in an online casino’s success. Because fresh titles maintain user engagement, partnerships with game studios remain vital.

Caesars has taken this a step further by establishing its own studio. According to a press release by Caesars Entertainment, over the next few months, Empire Creative is expected to either launch a new slots title or expand Ca$hline’s availability into Michigan, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.
