Fanatics Sportsbook Debuts in Michigan

Fanatics Sportsbook is coming to Michigan, making it the 13th state it is launching in and the third state for Fanatics Casino.

This introduction brings forth the unveiling of Fanatics’ cutting-edge online casino, seamlessly integrated into the Fanatics Sportsbook app. Showcasing a blend of classic and contemporary games, the platform features offerings from esteemed partner suppliers such as Evolution, IGT PlayDigital, and Light & Wonder.

Fans of Fanatics Casino will revel in a diverse selection of IGT PlayDigital favorites like Cash EruptionTM, Fortune CoinTM, and CleopatraTM, alongside an array of MegaJackpotTM titles, exclusive table games, and captivating video poker content.

Adding to the excitement, Light & Wonder brings forth thrilling experiences such as Dancing Drums Explosion, Ultimate Fire Link, China Street, Endless Treasures, 88 Fortunes, and more — all available within the app.

Accessing the sportsbook app is a breeze; simply download the Fanatics Sportsbook app on iOS or Android devices. Upon installation, players gain entry to Fanatics’ exclusive FanCash, allowing them to earn up to 5% of their wagered funds, which can be utilized for bonus bets or on Fanatics.com.

Fanatics Sportsbook Gears Up to Take Up Space in US

Among Fanatics’ latest endeavors as part of its expansion strategy is its penetration into Pennsylvania and its presence in Vermont’s new sports betting market, which commenced in Jan. 2024.

Earlier this month, Fanatics made waves by acquiring PointBet in Iowa, paving the way for the introduction of Fanatics Sportsbook into the Hawkeye State, its 12th state conquest. This acquisition not only extends Fanatics’ reach but also facilitates a seamless transition for PointBet patrons in Michigan, as their account details, rewards, and balances will seamlessly migrate to Fanatics Sportsbook.

Fanatics’ sportsbook presence isn’t confined to Iowa; it also operates in Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio, Colorado, and Connecticut. Hence, the sportsbook is also set to kick off wagering activities in North Carolina as the state gears up to launch sports betting in March.

In other news, Michigan’s total betting handle topped $600 million in Jan. 2024 for the second time in a row. The stated handle, however, remained 1.9% less than the $613.4 million recorded in Dec. 2023.

Still, Michigan sports betting operations are expected to continue growing as more operators pounce in the state. Notably, the Great Lakes State experienced an impressive 22.5% annual growth rate, indicating significant development and potential in the industry.
