The Goal
The goal (pun intended) is to correctly predict and choose the country that will win the World Cup tournament. The contest is free to enter, meaning that participants can place their picks freely without funding their accounts or spending money on trading.
You can pick from any of the 48 teams participating in the competition. Of course, you’ll want to make an objective, informed pick, regardless of where your loyalty lies, if you want to share the prize.
Notably, you can only submit one pick – making multiple submissions or trying to run multiple accounts will result in immediate disqualification.
The Rules
You must satisfy a few simple requirements to participate in the Kalshi World Cup prize giveaway, including the following:
- You must be a registered Kalshi user.
- Your account must complete the KYC verification process.
- You must be a legal resident of the United States and physically present.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
Notably, while the offer only applies to residents of the U.S., residents of New York and Florida aren’t eligible to participate. Additionally, Kalshi employees and their immediate family members are also automatically disqualified.
The Prize: $1,000,000
Winners will share a total prize pool of $1,000,000, to be split equally among everyone who made the correct prediction. The winnings will be automatically credited to the winners’ Kalshi accounts after confirmation of the outcome.
Notably, all winnings will be voided if the tournament is cancelled or lacks a clear winner.
Entry Windows
The Kalshi World Cup giveaway contest is currently open. Entries officially opened on June 1, 2026, and Kalshi users can submit their picks.
Notably, entries will close on June 11th, 2026 at 3PM EDT, just in time for the first match.
