After cashing a winning ticket with two home underdogs last weekend, we’re following the same script with our NFL Week 13 teaser pick.
The Cincinnati Bengals host the Kansas City Chiefs in a matchup of teams that have combined to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl the past three years. The Washington Commanders travel to the Meadowlands to face the New York Giants in a pivotal NFC East showdown.
Let’s get to this week’s Wong Teaser pick featuring the Bengals and Giants.
We are betting two-team, 6-point NFL teasers in this space with either favorites laying -7.5 to -8.5 or underdogs getting between +1.5 and +2.5. Wong Teasers cross through the most critical “3” and “7” numbers on both legs of the bet.
Wong Teasers are one way for a bettor to gain an edge on a bookmaker. Be sure to shop around at different sportsbooks that offer -120 odds on a two-team, 6-point teaser. In our examples, we’ll be betting $120 to win $100.

Bengals (+8.5) AND Giants (+8.5) Week 13 Teaser Pick
Bengals (+8.5) over Chiefs
Cincinnati (7-4) enters this tilt with Kansas City (9-2) on a three-game winning streak in which it has covered every game. The most impressive victory in that skein came last Sunday at Tennessee. As a short road favorite, the Bengals did what they needed to do in a 20-16 win.
We included the Titans in last week’s winning teaser because they were an attractive home dog getting the added benefit of +8.5 points. That same logic holds true for the Bengals this week.

Kansas City has won its last five games but covered just two of them. Cincy WR Ja’Marr Chase (hip) is expected to return for this game, and he might be joined by RB Joe Mixon (concussion). That’s a big boost for a Cincinnati offense that’s still managed to average 26 points per game over the last three weeks.
Chase abused the Chiefs last year with 11 catches for 266 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-31 victory
Give us the Bengals +8.5.

Giants (+8.5) over Commanders
The Giants (7-4) have dropped two consecutive games, and there are plenty of critics who want to write them off. This is the first of two consecutive games against Washington (with a bye week in between for both teams) that will almost assuredly have playoff implications.
The Commanders (7-5) have been sparked by former backup QB Taylor Heinicke, who is 5-1 after relieving Carson Wentz. Washington could very well win this game, but we’re banking on a solid effort from the Giants. They were depleted, especially at wide receiver, against the Cowboys but played them competitively and covered the spread in a 28-20 loss.
The Commanders should lean heavily on the running game with Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson. Expect QB Daniel Jones to do just enough, and RB Saquon Barkley to break out of his two-game mini-slump (61 rushing yards and one TD).
With WRs Sterling Shepard and Wan’Dale Robinson both relegated to injured reserve, and Kadarius Toney shipped off to Kansas City, Darius Slayton will be a key cog in the passing game for Jones.
Take the Giants +8.5 at home and look for a divisional dogfight in the NFC East.
Week 12 Wong Teaser Result: Win
Panthers (+8.5) over Broncos AND Titans (-7.5) over Bengals
Carolina didn’t need the benefit of an extra 8.5 points as a home dog. The Panthers stymied Denver QB Russell Wilson in a 23-10 outright win. Tennessee couldn’t get the “W” at home, but the Titans comfortably covered the adjusted teaser spread of +7.5 in a 20-16 loss.
2022 Wong Teaser Record: 4-8
Season Bottom Line: -$560
