It was a little more challenging to come up with our NFL Week 9 teaser pick with fewer teams that meet the criteria for a Wong Teaser on the betting board.
That’s OK, though. We’ll try to ride the momentum from last week’s successful teaser pick tandem of the Jets and Commanders. Two underdogs are paired together for the second straight week.
Let’s go!
We are betting two-team, 6-point NFL teasers in this space with either favorites laying -7.5 to -8.5 or underdogs getting between +1.5 and +2.5. Wong Teasers cross through the most critical “3” and “7” numbers on both legs of the bet.
Wong Teasers are one way for a bettor to gain an edge on a bookmaker. Be sure to shop around at different sportsbooks that offer -120 odds on a two-team, 6-point teaser. In our examples, we’ll be betting $120 to win $100.

Seahawks (+8) over Cardinals
These two teams met in Seattle on Oct. 16, and the Cardinals failed to score an offensive TD in a 19-9 loss to the Seahawks. Arizona has since welcomed top WR DeAndre Hopkins back after his six-game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs.
That’s not enough to inspire confidence in an Arizona team that’s 1-3 at home this year to cover more than a TD. The Cardinals are 3-5 overall and reside in the NFC West basement.
Seattle, which leads the division at 5-3, is arguably the NFL’s biggest surprise this season. Geno Smith is a legitimate top-10 NFL QB with 1,924 passing yards, which ranks eighth in the league through eight games. Smith has thrown for 13 TDs and just three interceptions. As impressive, Smith’s 72.7 completion percentage leads all full-time QBs.
Seahawks rookie RB Kenneth Walker III has filled in admirably for the injured Raashad Penny. He’s averaging 5.4 yards per carry. Walker has scored seven total TDs in the last three games. Seattle now has a solid running game to complement the pass-catching abilities of star WRs DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
Give us the Seahawks +8.

Saints +8.5 over Ravens
We used the Saints +8.5 over the Cardinals two weeks ago, and New Orleans came through despite losing to Arizona, 42-34. Let’s go back to the well here against a Baltimore team that ranks in the bottom half of the league in points allowed per game at 22.9. New Orleans is again back home in the dome after its 24-0 drubbing of the Raiders on Sunday.
In their last four home tilts, the Saints have averaged 27.5 points per game. The Saints have found an offensive rhythm with Andy Dalton, who has remained the starting QB despite Jameis Winston being declared healthy last week. Keep an eye on the injury report, but WRs Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry might have a better chance to return to the lineup with this game being played on Monday night.
Their absence hasn’t deterred New Orleans from scoring. Alvin Kamara broke out last week with more than 150 yards from scrimmage and three TDs in the shutout win over Las Vegas.
Take the Saints +8.5.

Damn, it feels good to win. The Jets did enough to cover the adjusted teaser spread of 8.5 in a 22-17 loss to the Patriots. The Commanders went to Indy and left with a 17-16 outright win over the Colts.
