New Jersey’s Ocean Resort Casino has announced a partnership with iGaming firm RubyPlay. Under the agreement, RubyPlay will offer its game library through Ocean’s betOcean online casino.
RubyPlay highlighted one early development in the partnership: the exclusive launch of the new iGaming title Egyptian Sun SE.
“RubyPlay’s Studios continues its U.S. expansion through a new partnership with Ocean Casino Resort’s betOcean online platform,” the company said in a statement. “The rollout includes several of the studio’s most successful titles and also features the exclusive launch of Egyptian Sun SE, debuting on betOcean before being rolled out more widely across the region in the coming months.”
What the partnership means for Ocean and NJ online gaming
Ocean’s betOcean online casino is one of the smaller players in the competitive New Jersey iGaming market. Regardless of the size, operators must compete for the state’s lucrative real-money online casino revenue, and betOcean is no different.
This past month, the casino earned $4.3 million from its in-house and Playstar online casinos, putting it just ahead of Harrah’s Atlantic City but far behind the state’s other iGaming sites.
A partnership with RubyPlay gives Ocean the opportunity to keep its players engaged with an ever-changing library of games. Keeping online casino titles fresh is a key part of online casinos’ value proposition.
Egyptian Sun SE: RubyPlay’s newest online slot launch
Egyptian Sun SE is an Egypt-themed online slot game that takes players on a journey through Egyptian history, featuring symbols such as Tutankhamun, Cleopatra, and the Sphinx.
Players who earn at least six yellow sun symbols in a single spin unlock a bonus level that can offer double rewards on orange suns through a Repeat Riches feature and, in some cases, a purple sun that awards a surprise prize.
