Sweet 16 action continues with four more contests on Friday’s slate. UCLA vs. North Carolina highlights the lineup. The Bruins are short favorites over the Tar Heels in this matchup of blue bloods. DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook are offering a deep menu of March Madness wagering options, including Sweet 16 player props for Friday.

It’s recommended that bettors familiarize themselves with the gambling laws that govern wagering on college sports in their states before planning their bets.

Sweet 16 Player Props For Friday

No. 1 Kansas (-7.5, 141.5) vs. No. 4 Providence, 7:29, TBS

Kansas’ Ochai Agbaji is the Jayhawks’ leading scorer, but we’re eyeing his distribution ability. DraftKings is offering even-money odds on Agbaji collecting two assists. Two helpers feels modest at first look, but Agbaji averages only 1.6 on the season. Still, he’s dished out two-plus dimes in five of his last 10. Three other Jayhawks average double figures, so Agbaji has capable scorers around him who can put the ball in the basket.

Perhaps one of Agbaji’s assists will set up a Christian Braun three-point make. Braun is +130 at FanDuel and DraftKings to sink ‘over’ 1.5 shots from distance. Braun hasn’t been as free-wheeling with his three-point attempts this season as he was as a sophomore. Still, he’s second on the team in attempts and makes, and has made two-plus threes in six of his last 10.

No. 4 UCLA (-2.5, 141.5) vs. No. 8 North Carolina, 9:39, CBS

North Carolina’s bigs will be front and center in this matchup. DraftKings is offering +100 odds for Armando Bacot to score ‘over ‘ 15.5 points. Meanwhile, FanDuel’s price for Brady Manek hitting ‘over’ 2.5 threes is +115.

Bacot averaged 16.4 points this season and eclipsed the 16-point barrier in five of his last seven. Further encouraging a lean to the ‘over’ is the interior size advantage he stands to enjoy against the guard-dominated Bruins. Finally, even though Bacot was woefully inefficient from the free-throw line against Baylor, he averages 5.3 attempts. He’s been better from the stripe in recent weeks, so Saturday’s struggles could be an isolated case.

Bacot’s frontcourt mate, Manek, stretches the floor for the Heels. Converting three attempts from deep isn’t a given, but Manek has been hot this season — and particularly of late. Manek’s three-point attempts (6.1) and three-point percentage (.395) are career bests. He’s also averaged 3.3 three-point makes over his last six. Manek appears to have the green light to let it fly, and he was well on his way to 10-plus attempts before his second-half ejection against the Bears.

No. 10 Miami (-2.5, 133) vs. No. 11 Iowa State, 9:59, TBS

FanDuel’s -128 odds on Miami’s Kameron McGusty scoring ‘over’ 16.5 points may not be ideal for conservative bettors. McGusty, however, provides plenty of optimism to those willing to lay the odds. He’s eclipsed the 17-point marker in three of his last five, including in big games against Duke and Auburn. His 13.1 and 4.6 attempts from the field and three, respectively, are career bests. As are his 4.2 shots from the line. This game will be played at a controlled pace and is listed with a modest total. However, it’s reasonable to expect Miami to continue leaning on their best scorer en route to a potential Elite Eight appearance.
