How To Get Hammers And How They Work
Hammers act as a third virtual currency for Crown Coins players. Crown Coins are the standard currency, while Sweepstakes Coins are the premium currency. Hammers serve a new functions and can only be used in a specific minigame called Hall of Fortune.
When I signed onto my Crown Coins account, I had two Hammers awaiting me in the Hall of Fortune, where I could use them to smash one tile each. Revealing the symbol behind the tiles will eventually yield a prize and advance me to the next “Hall” for an even bigger reward.
Crown Coins offers hammers via various methods. For example, a “Smashing Deal” was available on the site at the time of writing: $5.99 for 360,000 Crown Coins plus 18 free Sweepstakes Coins and 10 Hammers.
Purchases aren’t required at Crown Coins, so you can get Hammers through other promotions and offers. Completing daily missions is one way—spinning five times on any slot nabbed me one Hammer and 4,000 Crown Coins. My next mission was to win 200,000 Crown Coins, which offered a reward of 8,000 Crown Coins and two Hammers.
The Crown Coins Daily Bonus didn’t incorporate Hammers yet, but I imagine the site will eventually start offering them as part of the daily reward.
Hammers Work For A Limited Time
Once you receive a Hammer, you should use it as soon as possible. Each Hall of Fortune game lasts for a specific amount of time. You may only have a few days to use your Hammers within the current game. After it ends, any lingering Hammers will expire, as they are not carried over into the next round.
How You Play Determines Your Prizes

Boards Are Randomized For Each Player
Boards in the Hall of Fortune are not standardized. This means your tiles may conceal an object in a different space than another player’s. In other words, there’s no way to guarantee you’ll uncover an object except to keep earning Hammers and smashing those tiles.
