Yes, DK HORSE went live in 12 states on March 29, 2023 and expects to launch in additional states by the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 6, 2023. The standalone, DK Horse-branded app allows eligible customers to access pari-mutuel wagering on horse racing.

CDI’s subsidiary, TwinSpires, will provide advance deposit wagering (“ADW”) technology to DraftKings. Under the agreement, CDI will provide DraftKings pari-mutuel wagering rights to horse racing content owned or controlled by CDI, including the Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.

Where Can I Use the DK HORSE Betting App?

DK HORSE is currently available in 12 states: Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming. DK HORSE is expected to be eventually be available in 21 states, pending all necessary regulatory approvals.

On March 23, 2023, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted unanimously to approve DK HORSE as an account wagering provider for Suffolk Downs.

How to Use the DK HORSE Betting App

DK HORSE allows DraftKings’ eligible customers to bet on horse racing using a standalone branded app. The initial launch of DK HORSE will require customers to sign up and deposit funds separate from that of their one account, one wallet tethered DraftKings Sportsbook, Casino and daily fantasy sports apps.

DK HORSE gives customers the ability to handicap races, wager, and stream video of races all within their DK HORSE account. Furthermore, DK HORSE will offer a betting guide to inform its customers of upcoming races and the various ways to wager.

Plans to integrate DK HORSE into the DraftKings product suite will be announced at a later date.
