On Wednesday, Caesars Entertainment announced mobile sports bettors may now access the Caesars Sportsbook Mississippi app at Harrah’s Gulf Coast in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Owing to this development, gamers who are 21 and older may now easily register and deposit money from anywhere in the state by downloading the app. But, in order to place a wager, a person must be present in person at Harrah’s Gulf Coast.
“The launch of our Caesars Sportsbook mobile app at Harrah’s Gulf Coast is a game-changer for sports fans who visit the world-class destination. Enhancing the fan experience remains a key focus for us across jurisdictions where we operate, and bringing mobile wagering online in Mississippi builds on that.We look forward to providing an elevated and responsible sports wagering experience to our Biloxi customers going forward,” Caesars Digital President Eric Hession said.
Launch Comes with Freebies
Sports fans can look forward to a number of interesting giveaways and appealing promotions to celebrate the opening during the first betting weekend when they place their first bets at Caesars Sportsbook.
In addition, team members will be available to help with registration and sign-up, guaranteeing a smooth experience for each and every customer.
Users of the app will find a wide variety of betting options, including
- Proposition bets
- Same-game parlays
- FireBets store (Designed just for live betting)
This digital platform complements the traditional wagering offered at the physical Caesars Sportsbook, which has facilitated bets at Harrah’s Gulf Coast since its inception in 2018.
At Harrah’s Gulf Coast in Biloxi, customers are exposed to a variety of entertaining bar games and VIP semi-private fan caves. Easy-to-use self-service betting kiosks are accessible so that visitors may easily place their bets and wide range of dining options, making it a one-stop venue.
While legal Mississippi sports betting is currently unavailable online, House Bill (HB) 774 was passed by the Senate Gaming Committee, which is a huge step towards legalizing the activity.
HB 774 requires all Mississippi casinos to partner with a sports betting operator. This bill will impose taxes on sportsbooks, with the maximum rate being 12% of adjusted gross income, and each operator’s monthly income will determine the exact tax proportion.
